Oviedo Family Medical Center

"I have been a patient here for over 20 years, and had the worst experience today. First off, I have never had a problem when I saw Dr. Mosch besides the long wait times occasionally. However, today I had to see the physician assistant as that was who was available for a sick appointment. That did not go well at all. She flat out told me she did not have time to listen as she needed to get to other patients. She sent over a prescription to Walgreens, and I drove straight there to get it. Once there, I was told that the prescription was incomplete and they faxed the doctor to get it updated. I immediately called the doctor's office prior to leaving the pharmacy at 3:44 p.m. I spoke with Dawn, who stated they received the fax and she was handing it to the doctor to correct. Fast forward to waiting for the pharmacy to text the prescription was ready. I called Walgreens since it is close to 6:00 p.m., and the pharmacist told me the doctor never sent over the corrected prescription. Now I sit here debating what to do as my symptoms continue to get worse and there no option to get my prescription sent over until tomorrow now since the doctor's office is closed. If I knew that things went this far downhill I would have gone to CentraCare or the MinuteClinic. Thought it would be better to be seen at my actual doctor's office, and learned that lesson quick. I hate to part ways after such a long time with Dr. Mosch, but need an office where any doctor is reliable when sick. My husband used to go here many years ago when Dr. Mosch was in practice with another doctor. They split and my husband followed the other doctor to their Oviedo office. He has been trying to get me to switch there for years and this probably will be the situation that causes me to finally do it. It stinks starting over, but as I am only getting older I need to have someone I can trust."

"I'm definitely going to explore other options to take my business elsewhere. They discriminate new patients. I'm not new but my husband is. He called this morning to make an appointment for today. He was told there are several time slots available but then was refused to be seen today because he's new. It's probably for the best. This office has a mold issue which burns my eyes each time I go. Health and safety is not a top priority. They also engage in pap smear ransome for simple birth control and they make mistakes on paperwork."

"I love this office! They made everything so easy. I saw a PA for an ADHD workup, I wish I remembered her name, she was lovely. The front desk staff were so nice especially when I got a big bill from my insurance. They talked me through the whole process even though that really isn't their obligation to help people with their insurance issues. They don't make me feel like a stranger any time I call. I recommend :)"
