"Terrible experience. In my 10 years of having Crohn’s, I have never had such a horrible experience with any doctors office. I didn’t mind him as a doctor, but getting anything done from this office? Impossible. I needed to get my Humira submitted by him for close to 3 months , and he had yet to do it. Initially, he gave me a prescription and wanted me to take it to the pharmacy. No problem, I take it. They tell me it has to go to a speciality pharmacy and he must call it in himself. I call back with that information and the phone and fax number for my specialty pharmacy. I call back about 3 weeks later to ask for an update since I haven’t heard back and I was on long term prednisone for a partial bowel obstruction I was hospitalized for. I need my medicine as soon as possible. They tell me to call back at 5 pm to “remind him”. What am I going to you for if I have to remind you to do your job? Completely unprofessional. I believe he knows what he’s doing as a medical professional, but that office is run terribly and it seems most likely on patient overload. I already have a new gastroenterologist"

"I have been seeing Dr Agarwal for over 5 years. I could not have ask for a better doctor. He is very dedicated and passionate about the care of his patients. He has treated me during my diverticulitis, colitis, colectomy, and when over 70% of my stomach was up in my esophagus. He is good on scolding if you’re not doing your part. But do I feel that this man genuinely cares……no thought at all, he does. But it works both ways. If he puts in the time so do you. I wish there were more doctors like him."

"My Mother and myself are patients of Dr Agarwal. He is a very responsible and responsive doctor. Whenever I call with problems no matter day or night I always get a response from him directly. He takes his time with you during an office visit and listens to my concerns and issues. He has gotten my mother healed from a terrible disease and doesn’t quit until he knows the problem. He will even schedule you himself for an appointment after speaking to him on the phone. There are many complaints about office staff, they may be a bit out of the norm for office staff they still get the job done. I’ve never had a problem with them. Just short and to the point. I recommend him as a good gastroenterologist."

I was warned that his office staff is a little rough around the edges, but I didn't find this to be true at all. Dr. Agarwal was personable, kind and so was the front of office. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Agarwal to anyone. He's been just great."
