"My son just got home from the children’s unit. They kept him for 9 days because we have private insurance. Before they found that out they were ready to release him after the 72 hours. (Of course) Since he’s been home I’ve been listening to a lot of stories… I already knew the released him solely for the storm. He informed me when he left there were 2 children remaining in the unit, 1 who just got there. He said when I picked him up they were watching the movie “Saw”, YIKES, not that appropriate… but the best part was hearing about the gay boy that was admitted and let to go in the girls and boy side as he pleased. Even performing oral sex on other boys on the children’s side due to lack of supervision. I knew this place was bad but after speaking to their so called “therapists” in family therapy my suspicions were definitely confirmed. Jordan is an absolute joke and I highly doubt he even has a degree. There’s not a lot of help in Florida for children and places like this don’t help. I hope that I can find REAL emotional help and support for my son one day in Florida but it doesn’t seem like it yet. I definitely don’t recommend this place."

"This place is a JOKE! Someone I know was baker acted here at this facility recently thinking that they could reach out and get help for themselves but in all reality found out that the staff does not have a care in the world. I would not recommend this place for any human being that is breathing. The staff does not want to listen to their patients nor will they listen to any family member or love one that has a concern about a love one that actually knows what's truly going on. when I was talking to mhrc nobody did not want to listen to anything what i had to say! The lady was extremely rude. She didn't care what I had to say about anyone or anything. She told me that soon there would be a update on this person which came to find out , she called a doctor and gave her own opinion about a patient and their symptoms and all of a sudden this doctor approves a medication that doesn't even treat symptoms for the patient and how they're currently feeling. Save yourself or a love one a trip from going here. This place is a waste to society with false hopes of pretending that you care for others. I highly doubt you even care about yourself and it truly shows!"

"absolute trash staff. rufuse to help find good primary care. Refuse to release medical records. And discharged for being unable to give 4 not one but 4 goals to help myself. If I am crazy they would never know it. They just want money how is this psychiatry? Aweful place. Don’t trust them. Don’t bring loved ones here. Security is ready to pounce. Absolutely terrifying place."

"This place displays a complete lack of care. A close family member has been baker acted three times (2x's in this facility), and they keep releasing her after the mandatory 72-hours are up. When I called to speak to a nurse / doctor, they told me to call back on Monday as there were no physicians who were able to do an evaluation on her... she was released on Sunday. I HIGHLY doubt that a medical professional had an evaluation with her. I don't believe this place has the best interest of their patients at heart, it seems like it is being used as a quick culling facility. My family member is a complete danger to herself and/or others, and they just keep releasing her into the public. This type of care needs to be brought up to Florida Board of Medicine."
