About the New Season Treatment Center – Duval
New Season Treatment Center – Duval, located at 590 Ellis Road South in Jacksonville, Florida, is a leading health institution offering an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for opioid addiction treatment. The center provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in combination with counseling to address both the physiological and psychological components of addiction. The program is highly effective in treating a range of opioids, including codeine, heroin, and fentanyl.
One of the key advantages of MAT is that individuals can recover and heal without having to disrupt their work, family, or social obligations. This approach allows patients to learn how to cope and respond to stimuli associated with past behaviors while continuing with their regular life activities. MAT is a cost-effective option compared to the high cost of illegal drug use or inpatient treatment, and it has been shown to reduce relapse rates.
The center offers methadone as part of its MAT program, which has been FDA-approved and extensively studied for its effectiveness in treating opioid addiction. Methadone acts as a stabilizer in the body, helping patients function without impairment and reducing withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Additionally, buprenorphine and Suboxone are also available as part of the treatment plan, offering benefits such as lowering potential for misuse and suppressing withdrawal symptoms.
Counseling is a crucial component of the treatment program at New Season Treatment Center – Duval. Patients receive individual, group, and family counseling to better understand the nature of addiction, explore triggers associated with addiction, and develop resilient plans for long-lasting success. Counselors help patients cope with stress, setbacks, and loss, ultimately leading to improvements across all areas of their lives. Patients who dedicate time to counseling in addition to MAT experience better results and enduring success in their recovery journey.

Reviews of New Season Treatment Center – Duval
"I've been going here for years , it's not anything like it used to be they've cleaned the place up ALOT over the past 3 years and no longer have to have police presence I know that was one of the main reasons why so many people were wary of coming but it's so good now , granted sometimes you will have to wait a bit but that's unavoidable , the staff are very nice and welcoming and you will be treated well. Just stay on track keep your UA's clean and you won't have any problems."
"Been clean off methadone for almost a year now. This place saved my life! Now I own a home, and moved back to my home state. I miss my nurse friends at new seasons. Especially miss allyssa at window 5. She has always encouraged me, and kept me believing their was a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you new seasons! ☺️"
"I gave 3 stars because half of the time the nurses are too busy conversing amongst each other rather than calling numbers to dose patients. This can be quite frustrating to those who have to go to work and are constantly late. Unfortunately, the program director does not seem to care about this since nothing is being done to address the situation. It's quite obvious that our time is not valuable. Even with 3 windows open there will be periods of time up to 10 mins without a patient being called to a window. When you look to see what's going on it's just the nurses talking and laughing. I realize situations arise that may take the nurses attention from dosing, but not this much. I am not a disgruntled patient, but someone hoping for change. Other than dosing time the clinic runs smooth. The majority of their counselors are friendly. LaTrese is quite rude and rarely provides assistance when asked. It's well known she does not like to interact with patients so I'm confused as to why she is even in this line of work. Allow yourself extra time in the mornings especially if you work. Marcy is an incredible counselor and truly does care about her patients."
"I have been going to this clinic since january of 2022 And I'm not usually one to complain. But this place has gone downhill. They can't keep counselors, nor can they keep nurses for the most part. They're might be 1 or 2 windows open. So you have an hour. Wait for someone like me who has to be the work in the morning, it's not fair. I will definitely recommend going to a different clinic as I will be looking into going to a different one as well."
