As with every office there is room for improvement however cannot say enough about Dr. Dunlap and his back office help Kelly. She has gone above and beyond to help me like no other and those two are honestly the reason why I will call Dr. Dunlap my doctor for years to come!"

"I am very pleased with this office. Gretchen is my fav! She listens to you without making you feel rushed and she’s very knowledgeable. The office staff are always polite and helpful. I like also that I can send a message in the patient portal and get an email reply or a phone call. I’m doing open enrollment for insurance coverage and I was pleased to see I would be able to stay with the Normandy office/practice."

"First visit was a success. The building was clean and neat. Each staff member was friendly and welcoming to the office. I meet with Dr. Dunlap and his student. Both were personable and listen to my concerns. Educated me on maintaining a balance diet with low sodium. Assure me that I’m healthy and if there is any concern the office will follow up. "If you want a good doctor with efficient staff, this is not the place to spend your insurance $$$. The reception staff are pleasant on the phone and in person however they should not be expected to answer your inquiries. When you call with a question, the promise to call you back is rarely followed up on. You have to keep Hammering at their door to get an answer. I recently received a blood draw report that stated I had high level potassium 5.6. No call to discuss this with me other than to call me and confirm my pharmacy for a new prescription. After almost a week on this rx I felt like I was dosed with Novocaine. I called and told the phone answerer, she promised to ask doctor and call me back. Guess what? You guessed it. No call. I persisted and called and insisted for an answer. She said hold on, I will check with the doctor. I held on for a long time and she yelled to someone: she wants to know what to do about the medicine. I can hear the conversation. Someone? Mop lady perhaps? Yells back, tell her to stop taking it. I hung up the phone. Called back a few days later after I cooled down and insisted I speak with someone in charge. They connected me to Joy who listened to my story, made all kind of apologies and made a follow for me to see the Big Man, Dr. Dunlap. Did that this morning. He was pleasant and made all the required apologies. I did not feel reassured about the diagnosis after talking to him. I got more info from Google/Mayo clinic. After his short conversation with me he said someone would be right with me for a blood draw. I sat for 15 minutes and got up to leave and that's when they realized they had left me waiting all that time. They hastily took me for a blood draw after they bumped another patient out of the chair. They drew blood, I left without checking out. They have referred me for another test for a possible liver cyst most likely to cover their butts. My only salute is for Ms. Skameka King who is very competent when you can get an appointment with her. I do not salute Gretchen Baldwin and her constant calling me Honey. I am a full grown woman and it is demeaning to me to be called by this name. Try being a little more professional Gretchen! When this series of test are over I will be looking for another PCP. When I told Dr Dunlap this he just shrugged it off. PS: I still received no information as to handle the diagnosis of 5.6 Potassium Level."

"The office staff is horrendous at this location. They have no care if you get seen for your appointment or not. The receptionist can't be bothered to get up out of her chair and be helpful. Shameful that a poor front office staff is paired with great doctors."
