"I've been a patient with Dr. A for 36 years and he has been my saving grace on many occasions, gynecological and obstetrical. He has saved my life when the ER doctors had given up. To say that he has my undying respect is an understatement. Also, the staff, including his lovely wife, Ms. E, has been most amazing to work with. Most recently, I had an opportunity to see him and as always, he was pleasant and encouraging as usual. Bonus: I couldn't be happier about the new offices on the horizon and free parking. I am thankful for him and he will always be one of my favorites."

"I recently had a procedure performed by Dr. A in reference to an abnormal examination. There are a few things I had a problem with when it comes to the doctor-1) scheduling an appointment for a procedure should’ve been communicated in person and not with someone’s voicemail. I am completely upset with myself because I did not ask questions and allowed this man to perform a procedure on me without knowing which type of Biopsy he’s performing and the aftercare treatment 2) I received no information before the procedure (besides arrive 15mins early) and no information on what your body will experience after you leave the office I had to call my friends that are doctors and receive adequate information and guidelines that my body will bleed for a few days after the procedure (none of this was explained to me at the doctor office) I am not sure if this man needs to be in practice anymore but I am not pleased with the results or lack of information when it relates to my body."

"I have been going to Dr Acholonu for over 27 years and he has delivered all my children. My comments is not out of emotions at the time written which some seem bitter. I celebrate a Doctor of color who has been in practice over 40 years and has been successful as a Doctor , Surgeon and Instructor to all the new doctors coming in the field is who they turn for advise. I only trust Dr Acholonu who has done thousands of procedures to take care of me. When you are in high demand there is a wait have no problem waiting for iPhones or what you want on sale. I will wait for my doctor to take care of me and know it’s done right!"

"I love Dr. Acholonu. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. The wait periods are long but he is a gynecologist, fertility specialist and a surgeon so yes the wait time can be long. He has always been very nice and honest with me. When I had endometrial cancer he took care of me after sending me to a oncologist to have a hysterectomy Dr. Acholonu took care of me through the physical and mental part of cancer. He really is wonderful. Just be forewarned about the wait time."

"I was searching for a good OBGYN after a receiving sub par service from Dr Rowan’s office. I searched online and found this Office and made an appointment. At first glance the office needs a little upgrade but I’m so happy I didn’t let they deter me. It was about and hour wait, I’m used to longer at Gynecologist offices. Dr Acholonu came in after the nurse and I was pleasantly surprised, at times it’s a bit uncomfortable dealing with a male OB, he has one of the best bed side manners I’ve seen in a Dr in years. He did my exam which included an ultrasound and explained everything that I was seeing on the screen. I’ve never had this done before from an OBGYN. The staff was great also all the nurse and front desk attendants was really helpful and very pleasant. Overall I feel very comfortable with his diagnose and happy to give a raving review. If you’re looking I would highly recommend this Dr."
