"To be fair the Dr who came to see us was very reasonable & polite. That being said they discounted everything my Wife told them & sent her home with "dehydration". Only to find the next day at follow-up appointment already scheduled, that she has potentially fatal preclampsia. The Xray tech was incredibly rude and dissimive of a fatal infection that another facility diagnosed within 5 mins. If I was bleeding out and this hospital were the only choice, I'd take off my belt and Google tourniquet procedures. UPDATE response : No. We will not discuss anything privately with you, every detail of your incredible failure to provide the services you tout to offer will be public record as a service to the people of Tallahassee. The only way we will EVER communicate again will be through legal council. This transgression is not forgiven, and shame on you for trying to keep this information from those it might help aviod losing their life and or limbs. Keep responding if you would like me to go into more detail, as publicly as I possibly can in perpetuity."

"We had to take an elderly relative here the Friday after Thanksgiving. She'd hurt herself on Wednesday but refused to go until the pain was unbearable. Turned out she had a broken clavicle! The waiting area was spotless; check in was simple. She was in with a nurse taking her information within 5 minutes. Because she needed X-rays, we had to wait another 8-10 minutes for them to find her a room (an insurance thing?). X-rays were done quickly and within another 5 minutes she was with the doctor, who was calm and efficient even though our relative is difficult to say the least. They put her in a sling and gave her a prescription for painkiller pills (despite her demanding they give her a shot). By then it was after midnight; they gave us great directions to a 24-hour pharmacy. Everyone we dealt with was super nice, respectful, and caring - and it was fast!!! Our relative was convinced they could have done more, even though we kept telling her a broken clavicle doesn't get wrapped or set in a cast (seriously?). She's gone home to Texas now, to visit her own doctor, who told her exactly the same thing. Because she's so stubborn, she refused to leave them a rating, even though the nurse asked politely and it was on the iPad right in front of her. We hope this makes up for her intolerable rudeness a bit. Thank you, Southwood. You were fabulous."

"This was unfortunately my second ER visit this month and I was amazed at how well HCA did. The first time I was having trouble breathing and was waiting at the ER for five hours. At HCA, I was in and out in two hours and received a proper diagnosis and treatment. Not to mention all the doctors, nurses, and other staff were so helpful and kind. They eased my pain and were so through as well as thoughtful. If I end up having to seek out emergency care again, they are my top pick!"

"I will not return here. The EMT was able to get my IV in on the first try from a moving vehicle, hospital staff let it fall out then couldn’t get another in. I’m bruised up and down my arms and hands. I was misdiagnosed and treated like a drug addict. I received a lecture each time I asked for anti-nausea meds and sent home with no improvement. Did I mention they gave me the wrong diagnosis? Yes, completely wrong…. they would not listen to me. My issue was due to auto immune disease but they disregarded my actual diagnosis. Do not go here unless you’re a glutton for punishment. 5 stars to the EMT, they were amazing!"

"Feb 15 simple blood draw saline flush by nurse and blew my vein/ hit nerve or tendon. Still in pain. Inflammation still hasn't gone down. Super painful and countless er visits. Risk management has inly responded, stating that maybe my skin wasn't the cleanest. APPALLED AND DISGUSTING and unapologetic. Never had an issue like this and frustrated beyond reason. Saw another patient with the same issue a week later . Make it make sense, HCA. Main hospital follow up, and Dr. says maybe you did to yourself! Let's see what type of accountability is taken. Unsanitary conditions create this! Tge medicines tgat second hospital was going to give had the dirty tape beside it. How disgusting is that. LIVID! Can't function, and they don't care. The nurse should be terminated, and I should be on the news. That's the only way they take our health seriously."
