Reviews of CareMax Kendall - Bird Road
"I really can’t blame this clinic for being so bad when the entire healthcare administration system is broken. What I can attest to is every time I come here it’s a problem. No customer service, antagonistic attitude towards patients. No administrator to be found. All a big story. I hate this place. Sand part is I like the Doctor Aileen Andreu very much."
"Went there to have my boyfriends open wound (that was as big as my fist) on his head. He had it for 5 months and wouldn't heal. They gave him antibiotics cream and a bandaid. Made appt. For a colon cancer test. EKG. A neurologist. Not any thing for his tumor in his tongue. It's been 2; years now wound hasn't healed he went to the doctor again for the 10 time. They said he didn't know what it is and sent him home with antibiotics to take and said go to hospital . Well they called him back and said he was to go to a dermatologist. Well the transpertation called and said they would be here at 9to pick him up. This happened with them 3 different times they came the day before. They came twice one to take him to appt at core t time and s second one to take him to same appt. Wrong time also once they came and he didn't have a appt I have to say they need to learn a lil English it is America. I know enough to get by but it's only fair. If you go to Italy do you make it so everyone has to speech your countrys laungue. You go to a country to live because it is a better place for you then why not at least honor that country and learn it's language we are having to learn yours or not going to get anything. Not Right. Gracias"
"I used to really feel safe here with Dr. Guardiola but she left and though the doctor that replaced her is good, her assistant is unbearable. I actually have not seen my primary in almost a year BECAUSE of the headache I want to avoid with her assistant. I'm already ready to find a new primary. I got really sick and my blood tests ordered by my psychiatrist showed I had issues with my liver, thyroid, iron levels, and that I contracted the Epstein Barr Virus. First thing I did was call my doctor to inform her and possibly see her ASAP. Instead of her calling me back, her assistant did and she was so rude I didn't know how to respond. She basically called me a liar because she "didn't see" my results on Quest Diagnostics to which I explained I could email to which she told me they (and I quote) "do not accept emails" that I could drop it off. I then informed her what I had was similar to mono and contagious to which she rudely cut me off and told me once again she didn't see my results insinuating I was a liar. I became silent and I think she knew I was over her because she told me I could fax it to them or MAYBE if the "doctor allows" I can email it but she doubted it. She quickly retracted and said the only thing I could do was either bring it in person or fax it. That's it. And reiterated that she did not see it on Quest's website. Long story short, I became quiet and she ended the call with "they're here for me for whatever I need" I said "ya, right." I have not seen my primary since and have no desire to. I got diagnosed July and had to go to the ER after ZERO communication with the doc because clearly they didn't care enough to see me or check up- or her assistant just didn't relay the message. I have encountered the assistant before and she is surprisingly just as rude if not ruder in person. I am a person with severe anxiety, depression, and OCD and let me tell you that the suffering is not worth the "care" at "Care"Max Kendall. Not one bit. Wanted to share this because something's got to give and I know I'm not the only one who's had issues with her*. Maybe speaking up will bring changes. What a disappointment."
"Hello, I am a member of this clinic for the past 9 years; overall, I received a good service in general. But, today I tried to make an appointment with the barber to cut my hair; I mentioned if possible for tomorrow around 2 PM. My call started at10:50 AM and ended at 11:30 AM only to tell me that my Appt. will be by 08/14/23 (seven days later) not for a surgery but to cut my hair. It took more Thant a half hour to gave me an answer than the time the barber will need to cut my hair. I find this unbelievable!. H.Rossi"
"My Dad recently was diagnosed with a Mass on his lung by one of the doctors in this location. Overall, the team been helping and trying to get my dad into the right doctors and medical treatments. I want to thanks Mariana, medical assistant for her help and attentions with my father and myself. Thanks to her I, as family member was able to speed up the process and get my father into the appropriate route of treatments and specialist. My only complain and that is the reason why I'm not giving 5 starts was the communication between the primary doctor of my father and myself. I called several times, trying to speak directly to her and never received a call from her. In this company its very difficult to handle serious situations like in my case. For our fathers, mothers, grands, etc.... is very difficult for them to understand some situations and instructions due to lack of language or age. Family members are very important to be in contact with doctors, mainly Primary doctors when there is findings like in my case. I just want to bring my experience to you..... I don't want things like this happened to anyone. I'm a practitioner that keep and believe that relationship between family, doctor and patients are very important in order to provide excellent quality of care for my patients. Thanks ONE more TIME to Mariana ME of this location for been an excellent professional. Sincerely, Me."
