"Joseph Spine institute is excellent at caring for their patients. Anyone who disagrees is not being honest. They are caring, thorough and professional. I have been through many surgeries and have met with many doctors. Dr. Kouri is one of the most friendly. He is a 5 star surgeon. I’d give him 6 stars if that were an option. "Dr. Joseph performed a disc fusion on me a few years ago. He forgot to order the anticoagulant, enoxaparin, post op. I developed a deep vein thrombosis in my right leg. The circulation in that leg is poor now. The leg is always purple and swollen and developed numerous vericose veins. My right foot developed "drop" after the surgery and the leg is weak. My balance and ability to climb stairs is all but gone. I developed a number of other sensory and motor deficits from that surgery that have affected every aspect of my life. I went back to him and he was very cold and told me there was nothing he could do. He strikes me as someone with a large ego and very little knowledge and no compassion."

"The worst experience I’ve had ever visiting a medial professional. This place is all about money with a side of incompetence. I was referred to Joseph spine as they were the only ones on call for the emergency room. The physician said it will be the fastest possible appointment. My Orthopedic and chiropractor reviewed my MRI as well and said this is very bad you should go to the emergency room if you cannot see anybody over the weekend. Now I arrive this am to my appointment in the worst pain possible screaming aloud because it hurts to even walk or stand. The first thing the doctor does is take a look at me and decide that I want pain pills and I’m faking it. This man was going to have me leave before giving me any treatment or medication. Here’s a quote “do I see pain management” you know the pill Factories. My chiropractor warned me about these people trying to make money and not giving any treatments the first visit. I was told they will try to get you to comeback to get injections.They will let you die before helping you because more visits equals more money. so I demand it! I basically cried out loud I’ll pay out of pocket for an epidural spinal shot in between the agony I was experiencing. Then only then did they get on the phone with my insurance to make sure I can have it only after I said I’ll pay cash. They were going to try to have me come back for another visit for something I had to visit the emergency room for. The doctor seemed to downplay the radiologist report and what my orthopedic and chiropractor said. Overall I would never recommend anyone visiting the Joseph Spine Institute even if you were referred by the emergency room."

"I dont understand the negative reviews on here. My experience has been awesome thus far from 1st appt to coordinating surgery. Very happy with Dr Jospeh and his surgical coordinator Cindy. If I could have them as my primary I would. Ive experienced some very unprofessional behavior and incompetence from my Primary Drs office since covid. It seems as if many businesses etc.. Are using it as an excuse for everything. I'm grateful that Dr Joseph and his office staff have been very professional and on point from the beginning. Will recommend to anyone in Need of a good ortho.. 8/31/2020: I am adding to this because i couldnt figure out how to leave another review. I am 3 weeks post op and feeling much better. I had a spinal fusion on l4 l5 and some other things and I am getting feeling back in my left leg and foot and left side of my body. Ive been told by a close friend whose a physical therapist that it can take up to a year for neuropathy and other damage to my nerves to heal and thats fine by me because I never thought I would have even this much feeling back on my left side in addition to very little discomfort... I was in excruciating pain 24/7 and it had ruined my quality of life. I had a very bad limp and was headed for a wheel chair. I feel like I'm on the road to recovery and couldn't be more grateful to Dr Jospeh and his P.A. Brian for taking such good care of me. My family said I looked healthier than before surgery just one week post op! They said I was even walking better after one week after surgery!!! "I made an appointment for 12/12/19 and waiting for the confirmation from Humana ,when I got a call from Tasha @ Doctor Moulton's office who informed me, they were not keeping my appointment because they hadn't received my confirmation yet and giving my appointment to another person, which didn't make sense because my appointment wasn't until the 12th of December. What the hell!!!!. Apparently this is about money. I had a fall accident and injured my head,neck,back,shoulders,and my left knee and I can't walk without being dizzy and can't feel my feet. Dr. Moultonold me I needed surgery in 2017 or 18 when I was him after my car accident. This girl should be dealt with.!!!!!"
