"My husband was in excruciating pain and needed a hip replacement. We went to emergency room and got xray and cat scan. Waited 3 long and painful days for appt with Dr Athans. He walked in the door, spent 30 seconds looking at my husbands hip and said it was arthritis and my husband should go home and put heat on it and take an anti inflammatory (which he was already taking). Didn’t even look at the X-rays or cat scan. My husband couldn’t even sit up. Do not go to this doctor as he is not friendly, cuts you off when you’re trying to talk to him and was very condescending. Worst experience we’ve ever had with any doctor."

"William Athens is way too serious and never smiles. I went to see him twice and He spent 5 minutes with me, didn’t listen to anything I said, rushed out of the room without asking me if I had any questions. Didn’t give me advice or recommendations on what I need to do. dr Athens is the worst doctor I’ve ever had whh doesn’t have any compassion. I was in excruciating pain and he didn’t care. The assistant gave me copies of printed exercises but the images were so dark it’s hard to see the images. As soon as you walk I they collect the down payment, all they care about is the money."
