"Wish I could write a good review. I was thrilled to be accepted as a pt with a cardiologist with such high reviews. But besides an excessively long wait ( 50 min) past my initial appointment time. I felt rushed during the visit, I felt my care was not individualized to my specific needs. When I later requested results from a test I was informed I would have to wait 7-8 weeks until my follow up appointment. All I wanted was a quick message in the online portal that said we read your results, here they are, you are ok, but we have things to follow up on. Nope , that was too much trouble for them to do. I felt like a number. They are not friendly or encouraging for you to be involved in your own health. They have their own timelines and don’t care if you are worried or anxious about your heart health. (Even when that concern was expressed thru the portal messaging). I want a Dr that is transparent and communicative, encouraging me to be involved in my health. I want a Dr and support staff that are friendly and approachable. This group was not . Very disappointing."

"This place might know about the human heart. But they have no knowledge of matters of the heart. They treat people like cattle. The more they can get in and the more they can get out quickly. I guess the fatter their paycheck is and God forbid you Miss an appointment even if your daughter's giving birth. They will definitely charge you fifty dollars. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Unless you like throwing your money away. They are not all they're cracked up to be. And they have a very rude staff. I will never visit this place. I'd rather dfive 5 days to see somebody else. I have nothing good to say about this place."

"I've always been healthy and know little to nothing about heart problems or any other medical problems. So, when my primary doctor informed me that I had AFib, I thought she was accusing me of lying. Wrong. I remembered meeting a charming lady at a hospital volunteer function who was a cardiologist. Dr. Niza Alvarez is her name, and I called her office and talked... no, PLEADED... with the girls at the desk for an appointment ASAP. I got an appointment far sooner than I expected. That was over a year ago and I still give them 5-stars. Dr. Alvarez is quick! thorough! answers all my questions! personable! and highly rated with good reason! You feel very comfortable with her, and she's even a fun person to be around. To begin there are a number of tests and she explains in detail what they are for, etc. All the nurses I've seen are polite to us geezers, young and up-to-date, and eager to assist in any way they can. And when they weigh you, they even take 3 lbs off the scales!"

"Dr. Alvarez saved my life. If I could give her a million stars I would. She is so caring & understanding. She listens & is compassionate about her patients. Her staff is awesome too!! I love them all!! I tell everyone who is looking for a cardiologist how wonderful she is & how she helped me when I thought there was no help for me. She gave me hope & has changed my life!!"

"I've been seeing Dr Alvarez for almost 5 years now. She diagnosed me early on with CAD and I was able to have a bypass to basically save my life. She follows up with me every year to make sure things are going well. She is SO sweet, thoughtful, thorough, caring and just an overall phenomenal doctor. The whole staff there is great!"
