Dr Titus is an amazing Doctor, caring, knowledgeable, courteous and kind, able to clearly communicate the issues and the best way to treat the wound and the process to get it healed. And her steady patient way got it done. Dr Titus is a fabulous example how Doctors should be, how they should all communicate with patients and how they should make patients confident that they will get healed and get healthy. "When I first met Dr Kokel and his team in the hospital he seemed full of information that we needed to help heal my 93 year old mother’s pressure sore. Once she was released from the hospital, a follow up appointment was made at his office in Ft Myers. Again we were met with knowledgeable staff who seemed to have a real interest in helping my mom. A two week follow up was made and that was where everything changed. I watched in shock as a “nurse” bandaged my mother’s wound. She placed the bandage on the affected area and proceeded to place the calmoseptine ointment on the OUTSIDE of the bandage on top of the adhesive part. I wanted to tell Gloria that this was incorrect, but I felt that it was not my place to ask at that point. Of course the bandage was off by the time we drove the 45 minutes home -strike one. I continued to take care of her wound with a follow up appointment in two additional weeks. That was today. I knew from my previous experiences that I could not wait for her to go back with her because of COVID. I was told that the nurses would come outside and get me when she was called back - strike two - they never came to get me. When I went in to check to see if she was called back, the receptionist told me that it was the nurse’s responsibility to come and get me. After I found her, she had been left in a room alone with a bell to ring if she needed anything - strike three. We waited for an hour past her appointment time and decided to leave. We were not the only ones left alone. I could hear a man calling out for someone to help him. So we went from a 5 star to less than 1 star in the matter of a month. They actually asked me if we wanted to reschedule!!!!!"

He truly cares about his patients and wants what's best for them with a little fatherly-type advice thrown in! The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well."
