"As a first time patient, I was not pleased with my experience from this Dermatology clinic. First, my 2-stars is for the friendliness of the entire staff. I'll be honest and say they're all very polite and friendly from the moment you step thru the door. The ladies at the front welcomes everyone with enthusiasm and positive energy..... Now to why I was displeased: 1) I think their scheduling process needs to improve. I showed up 15m before my appointment knowing I will have to fill out paper work, nevertheless, I was not seen until 15-20m after my appointment time. 2) The A/C in the lobby the day of my appointment must not have been up to par because it was uncomfortably warm in the lobby and lastly 3) when I was seen by Dr Hassaneinn about a hair loss and skin issue, I basically got a shrug of “it can happen, it's genetics”. He never looked at my scalp or ran any tests. In my opinion, anytime you have a doctor who quickly makes a diagnosis as "its genetics", they're either lazy to do their due diligence or they're bias to what patient they're treating. In regards to my skin issue, after I told him about an OTC cream I was using to treat pigmentation, he told me its irritating my skin BUT yet, he prescribes a cream with the same ingredient plus 4-5 other ingredients. So I'm guessing his prescription wont irritate my skin since it'll cost a ridiculous price for a tube of cream..C'mon.. Im not going to say that I don't recommend this clinic because other's experience was different but I certainly don't see myself going back to these guys because now, I feel that their diagnosis is not that credible."

"I had an appointment with Dr. Hassanein last week and wanted to share what an incredible experience it was. I've worked with surgeons and physicians for years, so I can tell you what people are looking for. Here's what I can tell if you are trying to make a decision. 1. Dr. Hassanein takes the time to listen to you, he has a conversation with you and does not stare at an ipad as you talk. He took the time to understand my complaints. 2. Dr. Hassanein took the time to actually examine me. He then educated me on conditions and treatments. He told me things my last physician never did about medications I was taking. 3. He did a biopsy and Dr. Hassanein has an incredibly gently/soft touch. This is important when they are taking skin samples. I literally asked him when he was taking the sample....but he was already done. 4. The staff was excellent, they treated me with respect and more importantly, they know how to do insurance and scheduling. If you are looking for someone who listens, takes their time with you and has the finesse a surgeon should, make an appointment. I have found a new dermatologist in Clermont. Thanks Dr. Hassanein"

"Dr Hassanein has been my doctor for over 10 years now. I switched doctors after my last one last his P.A.do the surgeries. Dr Hassanein insists on doing the surgery himself. With his fellowship in mohs surgery and previous credentials as a professor at the university of fla says it all. I have had 3 sugeries with almost invisible scarring. After my first visit and surgery i was told i needed to return for a six month checkup. I informed Dr H. My insurance only covered one visit per year. His remark was to tell me to come anyway. If it needs to be free he would rather see me than to not get the visit. How many doctors today would say that! He has my complete trust and admiration forever."
