"Very unprofessional, spent all the time behind her keyboard looking down. Never discussed different options available for treatments. Loves to send you for tests, tests, and more tests. Each time she reads a set of tests a new appointment is necessary. Just a money grab from what I experienced."

"Long wait times in front and back. Her personality is pretty bland. You have to make an appointment for each thing you want to address. Example, I had my yearly exam. Towards the end she says “ is there any other concerns you have?” I mention a dermatological concern that I used over the counter but need a steroid I’m sure. She reply’s with “ I’ve already coded for this visit and that’s a whole other visit, you need to make a new appointment”. I wasn’t gonna make another appointment, take time out of work and pay a $40 co pay for something she is already literally looking at. ( teladoc, no co pay and they sent me a steroid I told her I needed) Then she had me do blood work before physical. No problem. I do, have my FREE yearly physical appointment where she mentions “ ok labs look good” pokes around in eyes ears and nose. Okay, done. I check out and I’m charged my co pay. I say “ it’s free for my yearly isn’t it??” To which they reply “ yes but the doctor went over lab work with you and that’s not part of the physical”. Seriously? She said “ labs look good” and I’m charged for that. I think she would be best as a ER doc."

"I’ve been going to Dr. Cefalu for a few years at the time of writing this review. My former doctor I went to for over 20 years was not accepting my new insurance and it was very hard for me to leave and find a new doctor. I tried a large physician group, but it was not working for me with the fast pace and overbooked doctor that I couldn’t get in to see. I’m thrilled to have found Dr. Cefalu, a private practice doctor that is thorough, and takes time with me during my appointment. Friendly and professional staff and Dr. Cefalu is great! I personally feel I’m receiving the same wonderful care I was accustomed to receiving at my original doctor. Plus my insurance is accepted!"

"Got charged 20 dollars for canceling 22 hours before my appointment and can bet that they filled it the next day, plus she doesn't want to hear about anything other than the problem you scheduled your appointment for. This proves that she only cares about money not the people she sees."
