"This is the most exceptional group of medical professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I walked in and the nurse had clearly read my chart and asked me appropriate follow up questions to make sure that, even in a big hospital setting, my care felt personal. Every single person I worked with was kind, compassionate, professional and oh-so knowledgeable. Being that it was the Women's Center, the surgery team got to experience all of my most unflattering angles, but never once did I feel uncomfortable. The staff kindly and pleasantly walked me through everything so that I was comfortable and confident with the experience. I can't speak enough to the professionalism of both Dr. Baron and Dr. Colon. I felt totally confident that I was in good hands. They explained things clearly and answered all questions without hesitation. My nurse, Brianna J. was absolutely outstanding! She was as sweet as she was smart and so on top of things! She was very good at reading and reacting to the situation at-hand, and her bedside manner was top notch! Yola and Kelsey went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. This hospital has a "designated holder" for epidural placement and it was exactly what I didn't know I needed! The anesthesia team (Julia & Sheila) did incredible jobs at making sure that they had the right information to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was receiving the proper care. Even though I was being punctured in my spine, I was not once concerned for my well-being. I had also met with this hospital's team for a D&C after a missed miscarriage earlier this year, and the care between both events has shown a trend for this hospital... Always compassionate. Always on top of things. Always great care. I selfishly hope to never have to see this team again, but if I needed emergent pregnancy-related care/surgery, there is no one else I would trust more in the greater Tampa area.
