"The office staff is wonderful. My doctor left this practice and I became a patient of Amy who is delightful and very professional. However for whatever reason village medical is closing all offices in Florida. Today I went to get my medical records and was astounded at the attitude of one of the health care providers there. She told me the would not provide my records I would have to go online a d ask for them. I told her it was a shame that money had become more important then a patients best interest. She answered by informing me that her mortgage, bills and severance package took precedents to her "patients ". How frightening that this type of person is what we must trust our health to. This woman needs to never be hired to watch over someone's health! Her name is Lori Nikolic PA. She owes her patients and myself an apology"

"I moved to Sarasota over a year ago and needed to get established with a primary care Dr right away due to my disability. Village Medical was a UHC provider, so I went and saw a Dr that is no longer with the practice. First problem came when my prescription ran out and it is a medicine you can't go without. I tried to contact the provider and you can't call the location directly and have to leave a message in their portal or leave a message on yhe phone . 2 weeks passed and no response or refill, so I had to go in person to get any response. Second issue. Time passed and I saw the Dr again the following year and we agreed to see each other in another year. She left shortly after that. In the mean time I had to have surgery in Feb this year which if course resulted in blood tests etc, and all tests were sent to the practice. Again, I'm out of medicine and they are refusing to refill them until I come in to see another Dr even though they have all results from all tests and their own Dr said it was OK to go a year. I can't say enough about gouging patients and lack of concern or care on the part of this practice and organization. Stay away unless you enjoy stressing about your care."

"Upon entering I noticed how spacious, bright and clean the waiting area was. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, but I walked up to the desk and introduced myself and it was THEN I was acknowledged. The check-in process was easy It was done on one of their tablets no papers to fill out which was nice. I was taken back to room two and the nurse took my vitals (My temperature my blood pressure and my pulse ox)... She then moved me to room one where I waited for about 10 minutes before Lori Nickolik (she's a PA-C) came in. I really liked her. At first I didn't think I was going to because she kind of got on me and told me I was late for my appointment basically but then was very kind and explained that if my appointment is at 11:20 I need to be there by 11:00 so that she has a full 20 minutes with me from 11:20 until 11:40. They don't tell you that when you're making your appointment and they should. I know now though and I understand it. She was very thorough and seem to be genuinely concerned about getting my health concerns squared away. She did for me in 20 minutes what my old primary care doctor never did even though I asked him to a million times! This exam rooms are also very spacious very clean modern and well-appointed. I would highly recommend going to Village medical for your healthcare needs!!! They seem to have a comprehensive health care team that does a little bit of EVERYTHING!!!! MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!"

"I recently had a tele health visit. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The appointment was right on time and the provider was amazing. She actually listened to me and was kind and compassionate. My scripts were sent quickly to the pharmacy and I was feeling better in no time! Thank you Vmd!"
