"Hanger sucks. I had a btk at shands in Gainesville in may of this year. I spent two months at shands. Hanger has some kind of contract with shands so they come to your room. Hanger came to my room to fit my initial ampusheild. After i started rehab at shands they showed up one time and said they would return to fix the ampushield that fell off repediatly. They never did.. I was released from shands on July 5. Hanger had called me a few weeks prior to my release to make an appoitment in winter haven. As my release date was not certain i told hanger i would see them when i got out. On july 6 i went to hanger in winter haven. The receptiptionist could not find me in the computer. She said there was nothing they could fo for me. I had to get paperwork from my doctors at shands, 140 miles away. Instead i drove to integrity a couple of blocks away. I was seen my damien immediatly and i go back in a week to be fitted for my prosthetic. Whay a difference. Hanger could do nothing and inegritty took care of me. And no i do not care to hear from you at hanger."

"I was very disappointed with a return I tried to make earlier at the Hangar Office in Winter Haven. Then I took a survey the company text to my phone. I received a phone call within 5 minutes from a very nice gentleman who corrected the problem. I'm not sure I will continue seeking there care but I am impressed with how quick and the sincerity of In which Hangar attempted to fix the problem"

"Insurance is a complicated issue; however, staff was incredibly rude. When my Mom told the receptionist she’d let her orthopedic doc know know to send auto related injuries to them, she rudely yelled “you do that”. Thankfully, we went down the street to Integrity Orthotics, who cared enough to explain the insurance issues and apologized for the hassle. They agreed to see us same day, so an evaluation for free, and then we could decide how to proceed. Same situation, totally different response!!"
