"This place is wonderful if you don’t have money or insurance. I don’t understand all the bad reviews because I have been here many times and only a couple times did I have an issue. They are usually very caring and compassionate so for the cost you would think people would be more appreciative. Unreal they run on low funds (because they make it so affordable for us) but everyone expects them to operate at peak? (THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED! DO NOT WASTE A DRIVE THERE. DO NOT KNOW WHY GOOGLE SAYS THEY ARE OPEN WHEN THIS LOCATION HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED) Real bummer too cause it was so damn convenient."
"The nurse practitioner never even looked at my issue (cyst), just spoke with me. I needed a referral for a surgeon and she tried to refer me to Dr Schmidt (he’s on their payroll), even though he didn’t have availability for FIVE MONTHS. I told her that wouldn’t work because I was in pain and needed to be seen sooner, to which she told me I could “let it get worse and go to an ER.” This isn’t healthcare. Don’t bother going there, the staff obviously does not care at all. *edit Also, I was emailed an additional bill of $30, I tried to call and ask what it was for. The first day I called 5 times (they were open) and no one answered. The second day I was told I would receive a call back later that day, also never happened. After TWO MONTHS I was able to speak with someone and they told me that they “adjust their cost based on the severity of the issue.” So, her talking to me, never actually looking at my issue, and not giving a helpful referral cost an additional $30? No way. Do not go here."
"The front desk was very friendly when I arrived. I filled out new patient form and within 30 minutes I was called in. The nurse that took my blood pressure was very kind as well. When the nurse practitioner (Robin Ginyard) came in, I informed her of my condition, having had shingles (the worst 3 weeks of my life), and that I would like an antiviral prescribed. I still experience itching and shingles can reoccur. The sooner you take the antiviral, the less an outbreak effects you, we agreed, and I’d like to be prepared IF I notice it coming back. It has mild side effects (none for me) and is not addictive. She said she wouldn’t feel comfortable prescribing it and asked if I’d like the vaccine. I informed her you must be 50yrs old. I asked if there were side effects/cons to the antiviral that I wasn’t aware of, and she said no. She then said again that she won’t prescribe it. When trying to understand why not, she cut me off and made it clear she was unwilling to discuss it further. She opened the door for me to leave and I quietly left. Made me feel like I was an addict trying to get pain meds. I drove straight to another walk in, explained my situation and they immediately prescribed it without debate. Do not go here if your health requires a slight deviation from standard treatment. Wasn’t going to write this review until they sent my emergency contact an additional bill ($48), after I already self paid (full amount asked) before my appt. I did not apply for any financial assistance, I declined it. No one informed me of any further payment needed besides the 183.00, day of. I called billing and they explained this is standard practice. Then the billing department called me back and offered a full refund of everything. Seemed sketchy, so I declined because I never want to have further contact with this clinic."
"In the midst of the pandemic going on, I have been requested by facilities I work with (remote work for 3months now) to visit each facility. This of course requires a negative COVID test result. I visited this walk in on Friday at 8am (the time they open) and was told to wait in my car and someone would come out to do the swab test. The one receptionist was very nice. The second, I think a nurse, was very impersonable and said I'd be waiting for a few minutes until they came out a second time to do the actual test. At that point I was waiting about 2hrs, outside, in my car, until they finally did the swab test. Then told the doctor would come out for final questioning, it was a nurse practitioner but at least she was nice too. Overall I was there right as they opened and didn't leave until 2.5hrs later. 8am to 10:30am. Told the test results take 3-5days to come back and they would call with the negative or positive. Still haven't heard from them. So now I am at 6 days later. And by the way, good luck actually calling the place. I had to call about 10times in a row before ANYONE would pick up the phone."
"It's fine as long as you have all day to wait to be called. Unless you have an actual appt. The doctor's try to rush through quickly & you never see the same faces. But The pharmacy & pharmacist staff are amazing inside the clinic."
