"I found it extremely challenging to secure an appointment with this medical practice. Despite numerous attempts, the availability of appointments seemed scarce, leading to significant delays in receiving the necessary care. This could be due to a high demand for their services or perhaps limited scheduling options. It would be greatly beneficial if the practice could look into improving their appointment system to ensure more accessible and timely healthcare services for their patients."
"I will like to start by stating that I made this first time appointment about 2 months ago, because this is the earliest of an opening they had; I finally made it to the office and the receptionist asks for my name and tells me that because I am TEN MINUTES LATE I will need to reschedule!! I began to explain to her that I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open since I thought the office was closed, because I saw that on the door the printed schedule states that they open at 8am and I arrived at the parking lot by 725 am, so I though I would give them some time to open up, yes, it was a mistake from my part to assume this, However, being that it was my first time there and I had done all the paper work online the week before I figured they could allow me a grace time, as most medical offices do because “ circumstances happen” …I was very upset and disappointed at the lack of humanity and understanding that baycare primary care medical had. I never got to see the nurse practitioner and honestly I will NEVER EVER go to this business again. If that’s how they treat you to begin with I could only imagine the lack of empathy and care they must lack as a overall team."
"The call staff representatives ruin the image of this place. I just moved here from out of state and I am 18 weeks pregnant. All I need is an OB referral but the staff refuses to assist me with this. It is November 2nd and cannot be seen by ANY doctor here until January 2024; just to submit a OB referral. With no sympathy they told me I could call back every day to see if anyone cancels to get seen sooner. I don’t know if they know how to do math, but by the time I am seen for my scheduled appointment, a referral gets submitted, my insurance process’s it, gives me a OB provider, and I schedule the appointment: I am due to deliver. I would have to miss vital and routine prenatal care/tests! Such a sad situation a pregnant woman (who has health insurance) in this country has to go through to get the proper prenatal care they are entitled to."
"I'm usually a very calm understanding person and I am more about talking things out. However, this visit was something that made me feel completely sad and at lost for words. I have a newborn and a toddler, I left my home ahead of time, I did confirm my appointment as well. On my way there my baby began to scream so I had to pull over and calm baby down, then continue my journey to the doctor. I got there "10 minutes late" that is what they claim, however, My GPS states I'd be 3 minutes late. I explained to the receptionist to let the doctor know my situation as a single mom, it wasn't easy making my way there even the fact I did leave on time from my home, however, when you have a screaming newborn in the back, you should attend to the baby. I explained to them just to take out my stroller alone probably took an additional 5 minutes and load it up with my 2 little ones. Everyone in that office could careless, told me to come back later on. I told them that will not be easy as I already went through a hardship getting there and my other child comes out later from school. They didn't Care what I had to say, neither did the doctor, I ask that the doctor come out so I could explain the situation and still everyone hid behind walls not giving a damn about my situation, it was about going through patients like water so they could go home. No grace period, no courtesy call to let me know she would place a patient in my visit slot, each patient is seen for about 15-30min I was still within that time frame. All my paperwork was filled out prior to my visit so getting there 15 min before my appointment for that paperwork was not necessary. I'm sure they will write to justify their terrible cold behavior. This office doesn't deserve any stars at all. Terrible and cold hearted. Side note I was the only person in the waiting room and I said I'll wait and the doctor still had a cold shoulder and the receptionist was sent out to ask me to leave and not wait because the doctor did not care or budge."
