"Received excellent care from Dr Phillips & his staff. Recommend them if your looking for a vein doctor."
"I struggled with restless leg syndrome for many years. My varicose veins were the reason why I was having issues. I had seen an advertisement for the vein clinic on TV and thought I would be willing to give it a try. The results were phenomenal with no downtime And no pain from the procedures. I would recommend anyone considering having this done to do so, without hesitation. Dr. Adam Phillips and his staff First class and five stars"
"Update after my procedures GET A 2nd OPINION It’s been over a year since my procedures & I wish I would’ve never went here. Originally, I came in to have my spider veins looked at. Was told they don’t do that here but he wanted to check my legs anyways. And now looking back to no surprise was told I have varicose veins and I’d need to have the Varithena procedure. I had absolutely NO issues with anything except for the vanity of some minimal spider veins. Was not told to try to wear stockings for any reason just I would need that procedure or it’d get worse. I’d eventually need this done & getting it now would be the best move. My mistake for not doing more research. I scheduled appointments that day and a week later the treatments would begin. The day before my 1st treatment, I received a call stating my insurance would not cover & I’d have to pay as self pay. Paid more than $5,000. Again, shame on me for not doing more research or speaking with my insurance company before hand. They wouldn’t cover because the doctor should’ve had me wearing compression socks for at least 6 weeks. After all the procedures were complete, I had swelling which I was told would go away but over a year later I have permanent issues. Severe swelling in my feet, ankles & legs that I have each and every day. My varicose veins look worse. I regret this place each & every day I have to deal with this discomfort. I then went to Sarasota Vascular Specialists and they wanted to know why a 38 yr. old would require that procedure. They wanted to see any notes from this place and when I got them, I noticed there were a ton of discrepancies. The Dr noted I had swelling which I NEVER EVER had an issue with. And that I was instructed to wear compression socks. Which wasn’t true as my procedures were schedule the 1st day I went there. Long story short, please don’t go here or at least always get a second opinion because once damage is done to your body, it’s very difficult to fix - if you even can and now I’m stuck. Please don’t make the same mistakes as me."
