Village Medical at Walgreens 3390 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

"Very disappointed in this company’s service. I called last week to request a refill on my BP meds. Was told it would be completed within 48 hours and here I am 5 days later with no meds and writing this review. When I called this morning to find out what the delay was, I was told by STAFF that they see the med refill request but it was closed out for some reason without it being completed and they’re not sure why. Today, the doctor is not in so in order for me to get my meds, they want me to come in for another appointment to have another doctor fill the prescription. I’m a nurse practitioner myself with my own practice. I cannot abandon my patients for a last minute appointment. I would never inconvenience my patients because my office staff dropped the ball. I believe in excellent customer service and care and this company does not exemplify this. I’ll be searching for another provider."

"Everyone at Village Medical is friendly and compassionate. I have struggled to find a primary care physician (long wait times, not accepting new patients) and I was able to get into Village Medical same day. Dr. Benitez listened to me and devised a treatment plan that is thorough. He explained things in a manner that allowed me to feel confident I am on the right path. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Benitez."

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR ADAM BASTILLE!!! Ok, so my whole life, I have literally hated and despised all Dr's and only went to see one if I absolutely have no other choice and it can't be avoided. Because of this, I jumped around and changed my Dr's all of the time. I went to see Dr. Adam Bastille because my new normal Dr was unavailable, so I expected the same as always, especially since he looked so young. I was shocked when I met Adam because not only did he actually listen but he was way more knowledgeable than any other Dr I had been to previously (he really knows his stuff and takes his career very seriously). He tried to get to know me and actually listened and agreed when I told him that I would not be going to the hospital unless I was immediately dying or missing a limb. He also did not try to give me pills that I did not want or need like previous Dr's (probably because they get paid more to do so). As I had stated, every Dr I had seen before him would just try to force pills on me and tell me to go to the hospital for every little issue which was not going to happen. I was also shocked because he was so young and down to earth and would also joke and actually make me laugh (which is tough) and inform me and fully explain any of any of the issues I had which again he knew more about the issues than any other Dr I had seen previously before him even though they were much older and had been doing it longer. What he did for me was also a better treatment than I had ever received before as well. I switched him to my primary Dr immediately after that first appointment and actually don't hate going to see him which is amazing because I had never found a Dr I had liked previously and actually despised them all. He also actually saw me at my actual appointment time and did not waste my time by keeping me in the waiting room for an hour after my scheduled appointment (which I cant stand!). I would highly recommend Adam Bastille to anybody especially if you are like me and hate all Dr's or being told to just go to the hospital for every little thing that is completely unnecessary and you just end up with a huge bill and very little help. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel that Adam deserved this review for going above and beyond, and it might actually help someone else like me who despises all Dr's."

"The attention was exactly the same, although there are Spanish-speaking staff at the reception. I don't know why they used interpreters through the zoom call. At first I didn't feel comfortable, but the truth is, it was an excellent job on the part of the doctor who paid a lot of interest to my concerns. He was an apparently young but very professional boy and the translators through zoom did an excellent job, as well as the nursing assistant. In summary, it was a very good experience to tell, I give them all the stars, thank you"

"I have been putting off finding a primary since I moved to FL. So thrilled I got it right on the first shot. Adam Bastille was incredibly thoughtful and insightful - really appreciate his approach to care.
