"Stay away from these people! They don’t care about their patients at all! My appointment was cancelled without any heads-up or notification. The front desk just told me that my doctor is not coming to work the day I had my appointment. They don’t respect patients’ time at all! Even when the doctor is there, I have to wait for 30min+ for the doctor to be ready to see me. When drawing blood, I saw the nurse has long painted nails which are so gross and unprofessional! How many germs and bacterial are hidden under those long nails? Is this even appropriate? Also, the doctors don’t even brother to wear masks or gloves when they touch me. Overall, theses people are unprepared, unprofessional, and care nothing about their patients.I only gave 1 star because I can’t give 0"
"Warning.... Avoid this Doctors office!!! They charged me 2 “prolonged service charges when I was literally in the office for 20 minutes each visit. And they charged other charges “that my insurance would not pay” in addition to the 2 prolonged charges. I have a new doctor now... needless to say, and have the same issues that I had when I saw this doctor, and I have not received 1 additional charge. Now that I am calling about the charges, they want to charge me $30 +$1 per page for my chart. I went there thinking that I was going to pay my $15 dollar copay- 2 times, and ended up paying that, and being charged an additional $314. This is with good insurance... keep in mind... DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE!!!"
"I would like to start with stating that Mary is a wonderful nurse practitioner. I trust her implicitly and she has helped me tremendously. However, the receptionist Brittany has made it impossible for me to continue care there. The past four times I have made appointments for myself or my children, she has been incredibly rude and unhelpful. Today I tried to get an emergency appointment and she said there was nothing for 2 weeks. I then asked for an emergency call back from my doctor for help with a mental health issue that I was TOLD to call for if I needed help. Her response was there was no way to get a note to her for at least a week. I asked for a referral out to an acute specialist in the meantime so my insurance would pay... and she refused that as well. I asked her what she would suggest... FYI “I don’t know what to tell you.” IS NOT A PROPER RESPONSE FOR A SUICIDAL PATIENT!"
"They made appointments for me and tried to charge me late fees. I never scheduled these appointments. And they didn’t even have my correct number on file. When I tried to speak to the woman at the front desk she hung up on me. RUDE. My family has gone here for 10+ years. That’s over 8 patients you are losing because of this. EDIT: I just want to mention that this was all due to “DR” Mary Mott who is not a doctor but a physicians assistant. Dr. Espinosa was always excellent and kind. Mary treated my poor mother in law (who was just finding out she had cancer) like a number with money attached to it. She just pointed at her breast and said to her trainee “Look see that orange spot? That’s cancer”. Horrible bedside manner"
"The appointment at 8:30 today had me leaving at 11:00 a.m... I needed to do a procedure at a cosmetic center which required me to do some blood work before. I had a minor issue that needed a follow up check. I requested them to send the result over to the cosmetic center nonetheless but they refused. They sent me over to Lakewood Ranch medical center to do the follow up test specifically because that's the one of the only two places that could do it as I was told. Went there, however, that the order wasn't clear enough so they had to call LWR family practice back again, which took forever... Scheduled the 8:30 appointment today and got there on time, but didn't get invited in their office until 9:20. After I was done with the initial check up, I was sent into one of the office and I just sat there for over 40 minutes. Nobody came to me and explained anything! I had to leave for my the chiropractic appointment across the hall because it was taking forever. When I came back, the nurse finally talked to me and told me they would draw my blood and do the test that they originally told me ONLY LWR Medical Center and another place could do! I asked her if they would charge me $20 CONVENIENCE FEE again, and she said no. Then Mary the doctor came in and first thing she did was write $20 on the notes and I had to argue with her. It's called CONVENIENCE FEE and there was nothing convenience about it! Mary was being extremely rude and saying "I went out of my way and made the phone calls to help you~ You should take your frustration with them~~~" I was never that angry at a doctor before. I paid for it because I didn't want them to hold my result again and ended up rescheduling my surgery. To sum up, I WILL NEVER GO BACK again!"
