SMH Urgent Care Center at Heritage Harbour

"Went in to get antibiotics for a self diagnosed sinus infection. I've had so many that I know what they feel like and the symptoms of them. I saw Dr Hafer. She says it was an Oak Tree allergy. I told her that I did not agree that is what the problem is now but the sinus infection may have stemmed from allergies. I walked out with steroids and frustration. The next morning, I was blowing blood out of my nose. I called back. Nurse says the provider (Dr Hafer) stated to call her back NEXT WEEK if symptoms still persist. Unacceptable! I got a teledoc appt the next day and was prescribed simple antibiotics... and guess what? Starting feeling better the next day and was over the ick 3 days later. Why not believe the patient when they tell you they know their body? It was simple antibiotics I was asking for, not some narcotic type of medicine! She didn't listen to me and obviously didn't care if I suffered for a week with my symptoms. Its pretty sad... We really liked this urgent care but I won't return, if they can't even get something as easy as this, right!"

"Excellent place to come for an urgent care visit. I came in because I took a fall and my shoulder was hurting. The staff here is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone took the time to listen to my issue and were extremely helpful. Plus this was the quickest visit to an urgent care I have ever had. Very little waiting."

"Avoid. Sarasota Memorial will rake you over the coals to squeeze as much money as possible from you. My husband was charged a doctors fee when he never saw a doctor and only went to get labs done. I was charged over $700 for an urgent care visit with a Platinum plan. Absolutely mind boggling."
