"To the physician Mark Nielsen I just wanted to say thank you on letting me know how you feel bad for me on my new job and saying “gross”; very professional. I also wanted to say thank you for telling me the story of one of your patients that got an STD while the individual was married for 40 years or something and it’s best to be safe. Thank you for highly recommending PREP for me; as I revealed I was bi sexual. I repeatedly told you I only slept with one person and I wasn’t interested right now and you persisted on your recommendation. I hope you highly recommend prep to every straight, bi, gay, etc person that is under your care because otherwise I would get the feeling you’re either biased or homophobic in some way. I came in to talk about ADHD, something I’ve been dreading for some time now, and I feel like I left feeling worse about myself with you. But thanks for the recommendation. To the resident student physician, or whatever your title is, under Mark Nelson. You seem like you will be a very caring doctor. From the second you walked into the room I got a sense from you that you wanted to listen. I want to say if you read this, please don’t pick up bad habits from the doctors you follow. Not saying the doctors you follow have bad habits everyday, but when you do notice something, you’re probably noticing it for a reason and it doesn’t have to be “normal” behavior from a doctor. Be the doctor you want to be. Continue looking at patients as people, not just people coming in on a factory line. If you never forget that, I feel like you are going to be an amazing doctor from just what I saw. One last note. Mark you never gave me the one thing I requested; the drug information sheet. You also gave me a referral sheet and I honestly didn’t even know what to do with it. You didn’t recommend a place to me or anything. I figured it out though. You also gave your “professional advice” to me without even truly talking to me. You probably didn’t even notice but you continued to cut me off when I was trying to talk to you. Mark, I truly hope you’re not like this all the time, and I’m sure you meant well, but I hope this can serve as a wake up call, or just a reminder, to be a professional. You have the title, but you definitely didn’t feel like one to me. I have prolonged getting seen for so long, and this is one of many reasons why. I will not be back Wish me luck on finding the ambition to go in again somewhere else. I know I need to be tested and treated, and I will eventually. Thanks"
"The lady who checked me in was rude !!! She was mumbling so you could barely hear what she was saying. She told me AFTER I HAD ALREADY PAID THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE A WAIT BECAUSE I WAS 10 MINS LATE!!!! Then when I asked her how long she said I don’t know. Just rude as hell and I’ll most definitely be switching my PCP and it’s my first time here. Don’t go here unless u wanna be talk to like garbage."
"Made us an appointment for 930. Gave us a card and sent an email that the appointment is 930. When we got there the lady at the desk on 2nd floor gave us major attitude and told us that we shouldnt be seen. We also got major attitude for her before. This is the community health center so there is no accountability for their employees"
"The call center is a complete joke. I made two attempts to become a new patient as my current doctor stopped working with my insurance. The first time the woman on the phone was barely talking to me. She hung up on me. The second time, a woman with a plantation mentality, was not only rude and condescending but she hung up on me when I told her she needed to be polite and professional if she wanted me to keep talking. I think it is the fact that I’m not American and all these people are very racist towards immigrants. I am used to polite people in Europe who are there to provide service, not entitlement. Never going there no matter what"
"Great experience from start to finish with Sarah Power P.A., she really took the time to listen to what was going on with me which is a lot because it's not the typical condition at all. The medical assistant was fantastic as well, she explained everything she was doing and entering into the system. Everyone was very personable and everyone cared! It was a little longer of a wait, but we waited in the room and I don't mind waiting for a medical professional that's taking their time to really care for their patients. Thank you so much for truly caring, that's very hard to find these days!!!!! ☺️"
