"If I could give Zero stars I would. This rating in particular is for Dr. Arletty Smith. If you are a mental health patient, DO NOT choose her as your provider. I had the fortune of advocating for a mental health patient and was met with discriminating, negligent, and retaliatory behavior. After advocating for adequate care, Dr. Smith tried every excuse to define her actions. After continuing to voice my concerns about negligent care, she did acquiesce to the request but then retaliated and released the patient from the practice and tried to use some fake guise as to why she could. She was not the patient's primary provider. She met him for 30 seconds. He only went to her because there were no other appointments available. She refused him access to the provider he has built a rapport with for 5 years! She is a heartless practitioner. Physicians should advocate for their patient's health and well-being not cause them harm! As a healthcare professional, I was more than disappointed and ashamed on behalf of the profession."
"They're incompetent. In cohoots with specific specilty doctors and do not recommend you find your specialist nor offer more than the same specialist repeatedly. They lie and are only out for the money. There's no bedside manner, compassion, or logic in their practices. I wish all of the staff, doctors, and management were unable to be involved in the care of living beings. They're unfit. Long version: I had been using Complete health since Dr. Feldman joined them. At that time, Dr. Feldman statted working further away. I started seeing Dr. K. He was never as good as Dr. Feldman, but I kept going. Once I needed a new allergist a year or so ago, the trouble began. The only allergist referred by Dr. K was the one I stopped going to. In December 2022, he referred me to the mayo clinic. I went in January. The mayo clinic gave me options on how to go about allergy serum injections. My first try was Complete Health, asking Dr. K to give them. He said yes. After the injections were ordered is when I discovered all of this was out of network. The injections were sent to Complete Health OC. I had an appointment on 2/20 for my first weekly shot. At the appointment time, in the exam room, after Dr. K signed a release from Mayo clinic, the injections had been in their fridge for around 1 week, and I was to start my 2-5year series, Dr. K comes in saying he cannot do this. He did not realize what he had agreed to. He promised to either find me an allergist in the area in network to give them or refund me. After months no word, they recommend I go to the allergist I quit for the injections, which is bs. Then, weeks of no word, I find an allergist on my own. He cannot see me until June 9th. It's April 26th when I go in to pick up my injections. 2 of my 4 vials expire 5/13 which is before June 9th. The manager there, Angelica says I will be refunded. She needs to speak with Melanie Sharp about the process. Angelica says she will call me the next day. A few days go by, no word. I call with getting sent to vm during business hours. I go in again, Angelica says Melanie was to call me. Again, nothing. I call until they finally have Melanie call me back. Melanie states she's processing it with billing and will let me know. May 8th I receive this email: "Good afternoon. I hope that you are doing well. I wanted to advise that I spoke with our Vice President of Operations as well as our accounting department and we are unable to process your request to refund your allergy medication that is due to expire soon. It is my understanding that Dr. K did state that he could administer the vaccine brought over from the Mayo clinic, however, he did rescind his decision. Based on that, we have had a discussion with Dr. K. Are you able to get back to the Mayo clinic before the vial expires? I know that you mentioned your upcoming appointment with the ENT is not until sometime in June, which will be past the date on the medication." Now these are weekly injections. A) I cannot and never had intentions to drive 4 hours plus exam time once a week. B) It is now May 8th and the injections expire May 13th. So, if I could do the drive, I paid $500 for 1 injection. That's justification of no refund? No. I contacted corporate Complete Health May 8th or 9th after the email. They took my complaint and said I should hear from someone other than Melanie or Angelica soon. It's May 18th. I haven't heard from them yet."
"Please stop with the check in procedure. Holding a heavy computer pad, answering the same questions over and over each time we appear for a visit. Is this necessary? Does it improve patient care? I have watched and spoken to other patients experience the same exasperation. Enough!"
"We absolutely LOVE Dr. Smith and her nurse. It seems that she can just look at you and know what is going on. She was able to diagnose accurately a few issues for my wife, and she is the first doctor to help my daughter with some problems she has had all her life. Our whole family is very grateful for the wonderful care we get at Complete Health with Dr. Smith and her staff."
