"I had serious pain from a swollen bump in my mouth and the right side of my face, especially my eye and mouth but my entire right face was swelling. The doctor was in my room for less than sixty seconds. He came in, asked a question I couldn’t hear, then didn’t wait for a response anyway before shining a light into my mouth. He saw the tooth that needs work (nothing new, I have an appointment with the dentist in two weeks) and didn’t even look long enough to see the obvious, pus-filled bump on the roof of my mouth. When I referred to abscess, he repeated twice that he didn’t see an abscess, and nothing can be done except by a dentist. The pain is literally radiating from the bump on the roof of my mouth. There is no way he would have seen it since he shined his light, saw that I had a tooth that needs work and decided it must be the tooth that needs work (opposite side from bump). Since I’ve been in the situation once prior, I know that the “bump” could have been opened and drained, preventing an ER visit (where it was drained the last time I had one that the dentist also failed to see but the ER did see two painful weeks later). This doctor prescribed likely the same antibiotics that the dentist did on the last one (that didn’t help, my abscess got worse) and said there’s nothing else that can be done besides my dentist appointment two weeks away. He did not ask about my symptoms, didn’t do anything except shine a light onto the back side of my teeth and feel my face and asked if there was pain, which I affirmed on the right side. Not sure why he asked. He didn’t even try to go in at the angle to where it would be seen. I know how hard it is to see because while waiting, I used the magnifier on my iPhone and was able to get a picture of it. The doc was in a hurry to see non-Medicaid patients so I wasted almost three hours there for a minute of the doctor’s time. I typically pay cash to get proper care and would have paid cash at this appointment but I had a good experience last time, different doctor. Today’s made it very clear he didn’t have time to diagnose the problem. Now I can either open the abscess at home, or go to the ER, where everyone was nice and empathetic to my situation last time. Obviously I can’t go through this pain for two weeks and I know it’s not recommended to open this thing at home and drain it, but Dr. ???? (Wasn’t in long enough for me to catch a name) couldn’t be bothered with it. Everyone else was VERY nice at the office. The three stars are for them. Should get a doctor that agrees with and lives by AdventHealth’s faith. Maybe I should tell my insurance what they are paying for during this visit - weight, blood pressure and pulse-ox check."

I was in and out in very quickly and the Dr was amazing, he listened to me and knew exactly what i needed to finally get relief. I am home recovering and am beginning to feel better already. "Took my daughter in for a sports physical and ekg and I was so pleasantly surprised by how friendly and warm the staff was at the end of the day. The ladies at the front desk were so patient and helpful and went out of their way to help us get in and out as quickly as possible. Shirley in particular was so friendly and kind and even encouraged my daughter for her tryouts. The assistants who helped us through the EKG were very professional and thoughtful with my daughter. The doctor who performed the physical was patient and thorough. I highly recommend this office!"

"I have been to this location 3 times in the past year or so and always have a great experience. The staff (front and back) are friendly and helpful, and Dr. Gordon is attentive and takes his time to care for you and is great with kiddos. Everyone seems to enjoy working here and interacting with patients, which unfortunately is rare these days. I don't feel like just a number here. We will definitely use this urgent care again if the need arises!"
