Reviews of MinuteClinic at CVS
"Nurse Practitioner Michele Gray was rude and not attentive. I usually go to my other location where the whole team is nice attentive and caring. I couldn’t find appointment there and I had to stop at this location 10701 international Drive… I had high fever, bad cough, chest pain, feel weak. Overall I had severe symptoms. The first nurse was nice and did flu , covid , and throat tests for me. Then later after like 40 mins waiting outside , it was my turn to see the nurse practitioner Michele. She was so rude she was like you’re positive that’s it she didn’t even looked at me; she didn’t even explain to me . I felt like I had a robotic service. She didn’t even try to print my report for all the test until I asked her , same thing for the receipt and the note. She gave me an attitude. She gave me a note of 5 days to return work today is the 8th, and I’m still weak and coughing. They charged me for 193$ extended visit separately than the other tests, and the she doesn’t even give me more infos how to deal with covid and Flu A at the dame time. All what she said in a rude way take these medications that’s it. I don’t recommend that clinic. I will go walking to my old location better than that service. I wish if there is 0star option"
"Leaving a review because I can see some negative ones but our experience was very good. Had an appointment in the morning, were seen right away by the triage nurse then nurse practitioner (and nurse practitioner student) and all were very nice with my kiddo and efficient."
"If I could give you zero stars, I would. I'm currently on vacation in Disney (I live in Maryland) and I've been in bed with what I believe to be the flu. I made an appointment at the minute clinic for 6:40 PM. We flew down so we don't have a vehicle, and had to use a lift, which arrived a few minutes late, so I got there at 6:45 PM which I understand is my fault. There were two exam rooms, one of which was open in the provider was inside. As I've never been to a minute clinic, I asked her if I needed to sign in. And she asked what my name was and told me I didn't have an appointment. I showed her my confirmation email and she said sorry you don't have an appointment and shut the door in my face. I sat and waited for the other provider to come out and by that point, it was 7 PM. She also told me I didn't have an appointment and I again showed her my confirmation email and her response was "sometimes if two people book around the same time and the system doesn't have a chance to update it will knock the second person out". I explained that I'm here on vacation, had to pay an Uber to get here, and that that's a system error not an error on my part. I actually started crying because it took everything in me just to get out of bed to get to the CVS. I asked if she could just please do a quick flu test and she said no I have to be out of here by 7:30 and I work in healthcare, so I understand protocols but the fact that they allow double bookings, but don't actually follow through with seeing those patients doesn't seem right to me. I said if you can't do a flu test, could you please just write me a prescription for Tamiflu? To which I was also told no, and she again reiterated how she had to be out by 730 (it was 7:02 at this point). I was literally in tears begging her I said please I just want to feel better and she said I'm sure you do. Would you like me to make you an appointment for tomorrow? And I said no thank you I'm going to make one at a different CVS. The bedside manner was nonexistent, empathy was nonexistent, and compassion was nonexistent. The only thing that was existent was making sure I knew they didn't have time to deal with me nor try to right the wrong of the system double booking. If they know that that's an issue, they need to let tech-support know so it can be fixed. And I honestly wouldn't have been as upset if I got the same answer with a little bit nicer of a demeanor, and wasn't made to feel like I'm a burden. I am very anti-Karen and do not write negative reviews, but working in healthcare myself. This treatment was just horrific and I truly advise everybody to stay away from this minute clinic."
"Went to the clinic showing symptoms of a throat infection, only to be told by the doctor that “I’m fine” bc my covid and strep test came back negative. Woke up today even worse with no medication or aid. Horrible service. The nurse was plenty nice and informative — the doctor Im not even sure wanted to be there. I had to argue to be properly checked out after my test results came back, for them to find out my right ear has a blockage from my sinuses failing to drain properly. Such a joke. Currently at an Urgent Care spending even more money bc of this. Dont waste your time."
"Please go see a real doctor. I’m here for work. I called my dr and he said he wanted me to be seen because I probably needed steroids. I went through the whole process. It was determined that I had a sinus infection - when I asked for steroids or a shot I was told they “don’t do that”. What? This clinic advertises all sorts of shots. $140 for a useless visit."
