Caceres Specialized Gynecology

"This is one of those offices where you see the Nurse Practitioner everytime (unless your appointment is specifically about surgery). The NP is NOT knowledgeable. I brought an issue to her attention regarding the testing she ordered, 3 different times; each time she performed the same incorrect/unhelpful testing. I specifically waited for Dr to come back from her hiatus before scheduling any more appts.; during my surgery consult I shared my concerns about the NP and she assured me she would take care of the problem. She ordered different tests, but I didn’t hear back. I call the office nurse to ask about it and only then am I told there was an issue at the lab and the test was not performed. This office doesn’t do appropriate follow up; if you need assistance with any referrals or test orders good luck. After I asked her a question (about some external records I brought in), the NP admitted she does not understand English well and therefore does not read the patient notes. She started laughing like this was some sort of joke, but I think this is extremely concerning and inappropriate. She did not answer my question nor resolve any issues I came in for. Not planning on going back to this office particularly after Dr suggested I try a trial of treatment that is more like functional medicine than conventional medicine and would cost around ten thousand dollars between two phases. I had concerns about my ability to tolerate the shakes, supplements, and treatment overall (I have severe allergic reactions to many things) and my concerns were completely ignored. I became a dollar sign to these people."

She is always caring and understanding as well as always taking her time listening to anything you need to tell her. The staff in her office always makes you feel at ease and they are always pleasant and extremely helpful with any questions you have. They take the stress out of each visit!"
