"I have been a patient here since I was 15 I haven’t been here in a little while but I just wanted to call and do a check up and apparently I’m no longer a patient at this facility and I’m having anxiety and freaking out because I’m still a patient At Gessler but not at the women’s division and it just makes no sense because I’ve been coming here since I was 15 and now I have to find a new doctor I would not recommend this place they don’t try to do anything to help you and they’re very rude. I had basic questions and answers on how I would get my transfers and she was very short with me as if she didn’t want to be there and defiantly did not want to help me. Having medical conditions is a very sensitive subject so I would’ve just figured people would be sensitive to every single patient calling but they just don’t care nor want to help. I’m sorry but if you don’t like your job just get a new one but don’t be rude to people who are stressing out trying to make sure they’re health is ok! I’m going to do my best to spread the word and once I find a good doctor I will post back on here saying which doctor everybody should transfer to because this is ridiculous!"
"Overall horrid experience, so much so that I transferred elsewhere before my first “true” prenatal appointment. When discussing billing, it was not disclosed to me that the amount I would have to pay out of pocket did not cover my new OB visit or my dating ultrasound appointment. Additionally, they required mandatory tests that my insurance did not cover, and it was non negotiable that I get these tests done. They also recommended genetic testing even though no one in mine or my husband’s family have a history of any genetic condition. Imagine my horror when we got a bill for 1500 from that company, on top of all the other bills we were receiving from them! I would spend 2-3 hours in the waiting room to be seen for 15 minutes. I was suffering from hyperemesis and throwing up 15-20 times a day and had lost 10 pounds during my first trimester and it was like pulling teeth to be able to get a prescription for nausea medicine. Take your business elsewhere!"
"Just left the Gessler Clinic OB/GYN. First, I’ve never been here before. The staff was not at all welcoming. After I got my new patient paperwork, I heard the staff openly speaking about NAMED patients’ outstanding bills. How embarrassing for those patients! I got called back timely. Upon reviewing my paperwork the nurse told me I would need to come for three separate appointments. One for a Pap smear, one for blood work and another for an ultrasound to determine the cause of my infertility. I can understand not doing all three at once, but certainly something could be doubled up on in one of those appointments. Seems like a way to just charge more for separate visits. The first appointment (today) was for a Pap smear. I undressed and put the paper gown on. When the nurse came in with me into the exam room, she asked if I was cold since I was wearing a long sleeve shirt. I told her I was comfortable because doctor’s offices tend to be on the colder side. This was true for this office, too. She said said the doctor would be in shortly and left the room. I sat in that cold room with nothing but a paper gown for 30 minutes. At the very least, someone could have told me to redress and let me know when to undress again when it would be closer to the time the doctor would be coming. I redressed and went to the front. Per their sign, (stating that appointments can run long and to just reschedule if you wanted.) I spoke to the staff up front and informed them I would be leaving for today, but wanted to reschedule for an earlier time as to not have this issue again. She told me to wait in the front. I waited until she came around to help me reschedule. Today is the 24th of May. She tried to reschedule me for the 2nd of July. I asked if there was anything sooner. My original appointment was canceled due to the doctor not being in that day. As a new patient, I feel uncomfortable with how they just don’t seem to care. They are disorganized, rude, inappropriate, and the exam room was full of dust all over the cabinets. Horrible experience. (This was written yesterday and just posted today)"
"This place is bad. I've tried my best to not give a review but seriously, I've given them way too many chances and they really hit a nerve. First off, the front desk receptionists are RUDE. First time of me going there, one of the ladies at the front desk sent me to the main Gessler Clinic because she claimed she didn't know I was a "patient". Seemed like she was trying real quick to get rid of me, like she wasn't hearing me out. Then I meet with the ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN and she was surprisingly unpleasant as well! The lady had this ambience and attitude that she didn't even want to be there, her whole demeanor was very off putting and cold. During my second visit, I was told at the end that I would be knowing the gender of my baby, went to the third with a mindset that I will know and I had my fiance miss out on some sleep (he works overnight) because he heard from them that we will know too, then when I get there I find out that I'm too early and that they can't see anything at 16 weeks, and that my fiance couldn't be in the room with me, not even the building because "The rules have changed." Thats fine that the rules have changed because of this COVID thing, but call me. You guys checked both of our temperatures at the first two appointments we had so we figured this routine would carry on for the rest of our visits. I didn't get a call about the new rules, didn't get a call for them to verify whether or not I was going, I didn't even get a call about my blood work! I got fed up and looked for another facility, found one and drove to Gessler to sign the release forms to get my medical records transferred. I called Gessler to see if they sent over my records yet and even the OPERATOR got snappy with me! Telling me "Well, they don't work on the weekends!" I told the lady at the office on a Friday that I have the doctor appointment the following Tuesday morning and that she would do it for me, like I didn't need them to hand the papers to me. I called today, on a Monday to see if they sent it and they said the nurse was planning to mail it. Also on the phone the receptionist asks "Do you want to pick them up?" I'm just done. Don't waste your time here, seriously, this is the worst customer service I've ever gotten from anywhere."
"Absolutely LOVE Dr. Jardine but the staff in the front are very RUDE. Every time I call I’m placed on hold for over 5 minutes and their not going over and beyond to help. After I denied an appointment for next year, over 5 mos away, the staff person literally just hung up on me. Didn’t ask if I wanted to try and see another doctor, or if she would have an earlier date available from maybe a cancellation. This has caused me to consider changing doctors. I am aware I can be easily replaced with a new patient but customer service really goes a long way and not who you choose to be nice to."
