Dr. James Piorkowski, MD

"I'm an out of network patient who chose Piorkowski because of his reputation, reviews and 1 dr referral, but these were all VERY misleading. He is extremely expensive and when asked if they could work with me on the price I was told they would take payments but would have to postpone surgery until it was paid in full. After I paid in full, signed all consent papers and was administered iv and meds by the staff, Dr Piorkowski came to talk to me (about 10 minutes before rolling me into the OR) and informed me he had decided to only do half of the surgery we agreed upon and I paid for. I went into the OR in a panic knowing I would not leave "fixed." Dr P told my husband afterwards that I would need another surgery in the future but my charts mention nothing of it. While I do have small improvements, I'm still left with lingering pain that could have been fixed and with the knowledge that I now have to save money specifically for another future surgery."

"Good customer service, got me in fast and helped me......sometimes I get the impression that when I ask questions, I get different answers at different appointments so it gets a little confusing at times. I use my hands for my work and it's a big part of my life. I'm not sure staff understands how important that is. The decision of what to do and when is very critical. Again, really nice people and great customer service......thx."

I have never waited beyond my appointment time to be called back and never waited more than 10 minutes in the exam room before being seen by the doctor or PA."
