"My experience has been with Dr Mark Bowden. After being his patient for 18 or 19 years, I would have followed him to this facility. But I was not able to get any info on where he had gone. I just saw his name in reading your reviews which seem to be good since he has been there. Most of the negative reviews are before his arrival and are front office problems which I never ran into at his previous office. I know the public can be difficult to deal with sometimes. But many of the complaints seem to be sloppy work.....not getting copies of lab results which should be common practice with every lab test, ordering wrong meds when the patient provided bottles, booking appointment when the patient told them they couldn't make it on time, not explaining to an emergency known patient that they are being worked in, especially if they are a chatty person, that time is limited. Front office personnel can make or break any business. But especially the medical business. I know first hand that Dr Bowden did not run his previous office in a manner that would get these types of complaints. Maybe it is time to examine the front office problems and consider replacing some of them. Have they had proper training. Some people are not meant to deal with the public. If that's the case, they should be replaced. I am going to hold off to see if the front office problems seem to get resolved before trying to return to Dr Bowden. I know the experiences some of the patients have had would upset me and drive me away. I'm sure you will find Dr Bowden a great asset to your medical facilities. "I was seen by Doctor Mark Bowden. I didn't wait long. The office was very clean. Dr Bowden was great. Remember me from years ago and was very helpful. I found me new primary doctor."
"I really like the Doctor he has been wonderful towards my father and I haven't had problems with the staff! My problem is there is no contact via phone! For me it's a major problem! I don't want to change my father's Dr again but there is just no contact! Thing's happen and unfortunately my Dad has bad days due to falls or fever and I I can't get through to reschedule! And I don't text! I pay for my landline for this reason!"
"They reschedule my appointment twice and knowing I would be late for a 430 appointment gave me attitude because of it when I told them when they booked it I would be late. When I get there they complain that we are late then huff about not having a physical copy of the test results. And on top of that they expected my husband to wait 2 month for an appointment for his sleep apnea. As new to the office they left a first impression that will never forget. I recommend another doctor. Don’t go here."
"Unfortunately my experience here was less than satisfactory. The first time I went to establish care, the Dr ordered the wrong prescipition for me. That is despite me bringing my current prescription bottles and giving him the generic and name-brand information. They apologized about my unecessary cost for the wrong script but did not take it seriously. They still continued to bill me for a copay on the visit where they messed up big time. Later they switched my provider two times. The third provider they switched me to refused to refill my presciptions until I came in for a visit. I was never told my provider would be switched, so I ran out of my medicine. Then, the office suddenly stopped taking my health insurance. Again, I was left high and dry. I didn't know about the decision to no longer accept my insurance until I called to make an appointment. Unacceptable behavior. Also, the A/C in the building is completely inadequate and the office could be a bit cleaner. It seemed like they were working on it... for two years. Some very nice people work there, but they really need to step it up. I wish them the best and hope they improve."
