Reviews of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School
"St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Miami Shores has provided my children with more than just an amazing academic education; it has been an integral part of shaping them into compassionate, kind, and respectful members of the school and parish community. St. Rose prides itself on providing an excellent academic curriculum that caters to all learning levels. The administration, faculty, and staff are exemplary. But what sets St Rose apart from the rest, is the faith-based approach to learning. While learning core subjects like math and science, students also learn the importance of faith-based values like empathy, honesty, and charity. Another point of distinction at St. Rose is the strong sense of community that thrives there. It is reminiscent of a small town feel, where everyone has genuine care and respect for one another. It is truly like a school family; a place where children can strive to reach their potential."
"My sister and I went to school there in 1964. The Nuns were strict but we loved them. When we moved to another city the next year I remember we were well ahead scholasticly of our new classmates as a result of our previous preparation at St. Rose. A quality school in my opinion."
"My sister and I attended St. Rose from Pre-K through 8th grade. As an alumni, I attribute my many life long friends, mentors, and valuable experiences to my time at St. Rose. It shaped me with a great education that prepared me to continue growing through high school, college, and now in my career. The community, athletics, and events I was involved in helped me become a well-rounded individual with great relationships. My family still attends church here regularly and stops in for the yearly carnival. I have such fond memories that I would definitely hope to send my kids there when the time comes."
"My family and I were displaced from our homes in Panama City, FL during Hurricane Michael. My children were displaced from their schools and we were not sure what we were going to do. St. Rose of Lima took my children in and provided what I wasn’t sure was possible at the time... normalcy, love, and an unbelievable amount of kindness. Although hurricane Michael was a devastation to our town, we had the great honor and pleasure to be apart of such a loving school and meet some of the most amazing teachers and staff. Thank you St. Rose, there are no words good enough to describe how much we love this school and the people in it. I wish we could permanently stay in Miami, for my children to permanently attend this school."
"Both of my daughters attended St. Rose of Lima and I will be forever grateful to our school. It was a very positive experience. I believe that St. Rose of Lima's approach to the whole child served as a valuable asset to both of my children. There was a nice balance that focused on academics and long-term development and success of the children. St. Rose of Lima is great place to grow!"
