"Incompetent administration and guidance staff, Unprofessional. Guidance has a lack of knowledge on how it works to obtain your license. If you have experience you can interview with the FSDO and have your experience certified and you don’t have to attend the entire program unless you feel like you want to. They advise you basically to be in school and not what will work best for you. Instructors are knowledgeable and know how to teach, the positive with the school is you can attend day or night classes so that is a massive plus"
"Started this school in 2020 and ended in 2023 fully certified A/P mechanic. Couldn't have asked a for better mentors and better teaching staff than this program offers. And a huge thanks to St.Phard (Assistant principle) for making the process that much easier, who definitely makes time to help his students. Thank you GTB for an awesome experience with awesome people."
"Well it’s Miami so don’t expect to get your moneys worth. Has great teachers but bad teachers outweigh the good. Best thing would be to sign off all the hours while working on the field. Then pay one of these money hungry rat teacher to show you the projects in a week end. Then you go take the test with his “recommended” examiner… Good luck! P.S. They will charge, but it’s cheaper than school."
"Ladies, I know this is a typical male career, but if the thought has crossed your mind... dive in. There is a need for women in the aviation industry; smaller hands reach certain components and lets face it, we have a special touch/finesse versus just brute force (although we can do that too). Baker's professors are encouraging and it's very much a hands-on experience. That combined with encouraging professors and staff (Love professor Sosa in case you happen to go into power plant, very knowledgeable and a great teacher). Highly recommend you taking this route if you a typical 4 year College career isn't for you. This can open up so many avenues and the will even assist with finding a job in the industry - (go see your counselors)."
