"This school USED to be a good school, now is trash, including the teachers that are rude and they don’t want to teach kids the right things, because are calling themselves teachers just for the money, no communication from them, now my kid is a kid and I want him to be a kid nothing wrong in that and they always going to do something stupid sometimes like all the kids, but when they do they just need to bring it to our attention, not when things escalated to much. And the Office people they are just like kids, can’t never comunícate with them either, always busy, and never a response from them."

"If I could I would rate this school at 0 stars. They had a bomb threat at school today saying it was a drill then seconds later they say evacuate the building but only to just line up outside, NEXT TO THE SCHOOL! Everyone in school was standing outside in the boiling sun with no information about what was going on what's so ever. We all waitied a good half an hour to be told what was happening. We were told that there was a bomb threat! Not only that, it was pass dismissal time and parents where worried! Parents where crying, kids crying, it was all just a MESS. NO PLAN, NO INFORMATION, AND NO IMMEDIATE REACTION TOWARDS THIS! As a child that sees something more then this school sees is honesty so disappointing. This school needs too be change as soon as possible."

"My children have been at AGA for several years. This new year, they will be attending another school. The first 3 years were not bad, but had potential. Admin force my child to take 4 AP classes that he did not need. Most of his AP teachers were terrible. This year they did a mock AP exam which was counted as test grade and was forced to go to school on Sat morning and stay after school till almost 7pm. My son loved chorus but was burnt out from the amount of stress from the classes. My son said that his chorus teacher and other teachers would take time off from classes and after school to help tutor kids becsuse the AP teachers were bad. The school brags about their Lighthouse Certification. In reality, it means nothing as I learned that colleges don't care about that as it is not a magnet program or AICE courses. This year they did leadership academies. They actually expected the parents to participate and give financial support, so I would check my children out early from it as it was a waste of time. 3 years ago a new administration came in and that is when things went down hill. The music program took a turn in the wrong direction under the new administration. We would advocate on behave of Mr. Rodriguez, but it was all for nothing. We were shocked as MS Choir didnt participate in any performances this year after watching my son grow from it. Mr. Rodriguez was the most love and the most popular teacher at the school and and was one of the very few who could actually teach. A petition was made by the music program complaining that we have lost confidence in admin. Instead they fired Mr. Rodriguez. Dr Valdes as of right now is the most disliked person in school and we do not have faith in "The change". I also support the sports program, my children played sports at AGA. This past year I watched 3 coaches from the top 3 programs quit this year, volleyball (coached by Mr. Rodriguez), basketball, and now football (coach Luque). Regardless of the reasons, what does that tell you when they cannot hold on to good coaches."

"Warning!!!!!!!!!!! this is not the school you want your child to go to. Our daughter has been in this school from Kindergarten until the 3rd grade. Let me tell you this school has been nothing but problems. Like any school it has a few good teachers holding it together but the administration is the worst. They don’t communicate and never take responsibility, constantly blaming the school board or whoever else they can. We have been involved parents since the beginning, even gone outside the school for help for our daughter but without proper guidance and direction your child is setup for failure. This school and administration treat kids like a number and have no care for there education. I could write for hours how this school has failed our daughter but it would be a waste of time. I rather spend that time looking for a better school."

"This school is the worst WARNING if you send your kid they will be lost in the system these teachers are not in tuned with our kids. The kids there are bullies because it is such a small school lots of rumors that will make your son or daughter cry or think about suicide. In 5-9 my daughter was attacked by another girl who was back up with a lot of her guy friends and girlfriends they all approached my daughter and stated she said something about a girl which she doesn’t talk about anyone and was smacked in her face. Did the school do anything about NO they said that no one was there and no witnesses so they can arrest or suspend the girl. Then there are other kids that cyber building my daughter and social media this is not acceptable the principal did not speak with me the security guard of the school cannot tell me any actions have been taken towards this other kid No one can help I had to let my daughter go to school who is scared to be in the school but we have no choice and she hast to finish school no one is there for you in that school do not send your kids to that school I am telling you your kid will be traumatized"
