"Shouldn’t deserve a a star show favorite student a and just plain sucks"

"The reviews here stating that they show favoritism at the school are 100% correct! Our daughter went to this school for years and was being bothered by students that are family members of the staff/principal and nothing was done to address our concerns. Most of the parents are on government programs and the class of people there is very low. The new school administration as of the past couple of years is afraid of the priest in charge. That priest must be bipolar because there are several accounts of him yelling at parishioners, teachers, and students, sometimes in the middle of mass. We took our daughter out of there and she is much happier at Good Shepherd."

"I have gone to church in Mother of Christ since I was a child and through the years it has changed a lot. I did my communion there and did CCD classes. I was confirmed there as well. I am 35 years old now and I put my daughter in the school when she was 2.5 years. I gave the school a shot because my mother worked there. I want to give my most honest opinion. The school shows favoritism. Particularly the people in the office. Even though my mother was a teacher there they did not treat my daughter or me as nicely as they should have. I gave the school a chance and had planned to keep her there until middle school. This was not the case. I knew for a fact there were students at the school who had family members that were part of the staff as well. They not only went to school free of charge they were much nicer to them. The one thing about this school is if they didn’t like you then they didn’t like your kid. The education was never anything out of this world. In fact, my child’s PK3 teacher had absolutely no education background whatsoever. I know since then, the administration has changed, however, I still know several parents that have been unhappy with the school. Do I think this school is better then the current public my child is in? No, definitely not. Would I recommend this school, definitely not. Especially now that my mother is no longer working at the school."

"I have been a member of Mother of Christ since 1996 and I have nothing but good things to say about Mother of Christ. It's a wonderful parish that helps their parishioners not only spiritually but also economically with their food drives, St. Vincent The Paul and is one of the parishes that has the most retreats to help you grow spiritually. I read the first review that was written, and I know the priest she has mentioned in her review and yes he is sometimes hard to understand but he is a wonderful priest with a big heart and much love for his parishioners I'm sure what happened with the candle was just an unfortunate accident. I just want to let the person that wrote that review to take the time to know us at Mother of Christ and I'm sure we will change her mind. Come to our parish and we will welcome you and will be glad for you to be a part of this parish and community."
