"If you're poor and wanna go back to school, this likely isn't the best choice for you. They don't offer full scholarships and even if you do well academically in their school, they still won't offer any extra funding. They do have an online search engine for scholarships, but most of the scholarships available do not pertain to students in technical school. If you do get a grant it will only be enough for miscellaneous fees. Their commuter grant is usually not enough to help you commute for the entire class period. Overall it seems that if you go there and DO WELL ACADEMICALLY they won't help you when you are struggling financially."

"School is a scam for $40k ….. this particular campus is understaffed and continues to get as many students as possible to sign up without having the proper amount of teachers to teach. It’s come to the point they are sending students into forced leave of absences due to shortage of teachers. The education through automotive is primitive and far behind industry standards. As anyone who goes through the school will soon find the regret of signing the contract. I currently go to this school and work in a dealership and received way better training in few months through the dealer than half a year in the school. If you’re looking to sign up for this school to be mechanic in todays day and age you don’t need to go to UTI to achieve that. Most students I know regret the fact of the decision of signing up and now just trying to get by to graduate to just get through with it. The problems is probably only in the Miramar while they are struggling they hire almost anyone to teach but reports from students who have gone through the Orlando campus is much more positive. Avoid the Miramar UTI at the very least chose a different school or campus."
