Reviews of DeVry University
"Currently attending graduate courses. The student support team has always been there to help me every time Ive needed them. The campus is very clean and well maintained in comparison other colleges I've visited."
"The advisor Blake Saydese was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke to. Not only was his information false but if I did not call back and speak to a different advisor I would have been left withdrawn from the coarse. He also told me that he did not have a manager i could speak to. People like him give the school a bad reputation. The other advisors were extremely professional and showed a concern for the my academic progress. I give a one star only cause of my experience with him. If calls are monitored than they need to look into these calls because I'm sure that I can't be the only one."
"The campus is beautiful. It isn't large, but it offers all that you need in a school. I worked on my Masters in Accounting with Keller, and I am very impressed with the program, which integrates the Becker Review with the Master's program."
"Great campus environment and classes were meaningful From the day I met with the regristration office to my last class on campus I have felt welcomed and truly cared for as a student. The interaction with other students, professors and staff is always a warm and exciting experience. I am employed else where full-time and attend evening / online classes. The professors are great at understanding life's demands since most of them are professionals during the day as well. The interactions with my fellow classmates was amazing as well, the environment lends itself to team work, collaboration and self learning as well. I will finish my classes this Fall and will Graduate with Honors thanks to DeVry, my fellow classmates and my professors! Special recognition for Professors Ed Hill, Jermaine McCarthy and Robert O'Connell!!"
"I am certain that higher education provides tools to be competitive for the future; however, DeVry University has helped me to achieve my professional goals. I had an opportunity to come to school and developed and enhanced my personal and professional skills. I was very pleased with the support received from all professors and staff in Miramar Campus. Although I will finish with my Bachelor’s in Science (Computer Information Systems) in October 2013, I had the opportunity to meet great individuals on campus. I am looking to continue moving forward, and find a professional opportunity where I can apply my knowledge and expertise. Finally, I would like to thank Dean Wilborn, Professor Adam Moss, Sarah Nielsen, Jerry Durbeej, Edwin Hill, and Robert O’Connell because they all played an important part since I started back in September 2007. Also, I would like to thank all the career services staff because they have encouraged me to achieve my professional goals. Tony Cobas and Nelly Leon are great individuals who are willing to help students to succeed. It has been a difficult, but rewarding journey. I will do it all over again. Sincerely, Oscar Mondragon"
