Zion – Ministries Under the Cross

Zion – Ministries Under the Cross is a church and place of worship located at 959 Southeast 6th Avenue in Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States. We believe in the joy and celebration of the resurrection, not just on Easter Sunday, but throughout the entire season. Our community gathers to worship and is sent by Jesus to serve our neighbors and each other in our homes, church, and local community.

At Zion, we truly mean it when we say "All are welcome." We are a church community with a global reach and a local heart, providing a place for everyone. We are committed to ensuring that everyone's basic needs are met and that no one in our community goes hungry.

While we are not officially a ministry of Zion, our partnership with Deerfield Beach Community Cares has allowed us to expand our impact and serve our neighbors in even greater ways. We believe in God's unconditional love for all, regardless of race, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, or background.

Zion is a community of faith affiliated with the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community, we extend God's radical welcome to all people because we believe that we are all created in God's image.
