"Where should I begin? Firstly, there's a Sri Krishna temple, then there are the cows. One can bring bananas and carrots and feed them. There are places to sit and meditate or reflect if one wishes. There's a lake. The devotees are friendly and kind. There's prasadam after service is over. The entire place has a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I am at peace when I'm there."

"I spent two weeks here in May, and it was an enlivening experience of immersion in an exquisite, pure atmosphere. The land and scenery are breath-taking, and being in this environment feels wholesome for the body and spirit. A huge component of what made me addicted to the experience of being here was that the people who run the Veda Foundation DeLand project are so welcoming and inspiring, always making sure one feels part of the community and part of the program. Looking ahead, this project is only going to get exponentially more exciting! It has so many diverse components, each of which will be deeply enriching and stimulating to the broader society.
