"The staff are very friendly and helpful, the people I met while attending the school are good friends now."
"Hi My name is Carlos Solis I was a student here at CBT technology institute for about 8 months for the HVAC program. My experience with CBT was noting but Bittersweet and I wish I could have better things to say because I really had my hopes high for this institution. Graduated Highschool around 2022 wanted to find something that could fulfill my heart with proud work I thought HVAC could be the way for me so in September 2022 I enrolled in the HV/AC program and kicked off with 3 fellow Students whom I say are my best friends after the program. We were all excited with the Promise that Jesus —who will act the face of introducing you the school —sold us on, the promise that we WILL get a job before the program is even finished. We started off the 1st 2 semesters with amazing teachers like Mr. Hernique and Mr. Alexis Roca, by far some of the best teachers I’ve had in my life great guys know their stuff! Then we hit the 3rd semester. Things start to change— we get closer to epa exams, new teachers who out of no where got stale with the excitement no depth to their teaching exception of Mr. Jorge larnari ( I hope I have his name correct) we get closer to not only graduating but with no updates on said promise to find a job.. what happened? I can’t tell you because this is A licensed school with Great connections throughout south Florida and there’s no excuse to why we couldn’t find one all my Fellow classmates had cars, license, the eagerness to learn and the heart to stay dedicated for a career. We start to notice flaw within the Institution. Starting with 1. Huge loan takeout for solely a certification in HVAC. 2. Teachers are really just hit or miss, Mr. David Cabrrea was okay but in hindsight there were a lot of forgetful teachers that were not interested in teaching and clearly did not care about the longevity of us. 3. False promises 4. Job searching after graduation was a complete failure. All eyes are on Pura your career advisor I think she did what she could but did not go above and beyond for us. There is no excuse to why all 4 of your English speaking & bilingual STUDENTS for the year couldn’t find a job in HV/AC. There could be a possibility that right after May, summer starts the busiest time for Hvac companies and right before summer they already found their apprentices but in all honesty that can’t be the only reason. I speak for my now bestfriends Luis Morales, Kelvin Dubon who both went the same path as I with CBT and they did not deliver and stand on the business they preached. But I will say this the few insightful teachers like Mr. Roca taught us all well and I am PROUD to say I found a job as a HVAC apprentice on my own WITHOUT the help of CBT technology institute. It only took me 6 months but it’s better then nothing I will get in kelvin in this company too and unfortunately Luis has had to turn his future to the Navy and we miss him everyday! This is our experience take it with you and good luck in south Florida competition is serious here!"
"They are trash. Tried to get educated there for them to turn around and say we don't have enough English student to fill the class. And instead of being clear with me she waits to the day I show up for orientation to sit and tell me I can't start, after I did fasfa and talked to administrators. Complete waste or time."
"An absolutely great place to start if you’re looking to begin your skills in electrical or air conditioning. Classes are both in English and Spanish so everyone can learn."
"Great classes. Perfect hands on labs and amazing teachers. Highly recommend learning at this school"
