About the Business
The Lake Worth Art League, located at 604 Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, is a vibrant art gallery and boutique owned and operated by the League itself. Established in 1941 as a nonprofit organization, the League aims to promote the arts, support artists at all levels, and enrich the cultural life of the community.
Member artists, ranging from emerging talent to seasoned professionals, have the opportunity to showcase and sell their work in the Artist's Eye Gallery and Boutique, which hosts professionally judged shows. The public is welcome to visit the gallery free of charge to admire and purchase these unique pieces.
In addition to exhibitions, the League offers art classes and workshops for all ages, including the chance for artists to work from a live model during Open Studio Thursdays. This initiative provides artists with the opportunity to hone their skills and creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.
As a nonprofit organization, the Lake Worth Art League relies on the support of generous donors to continue its mission of fostering artistic development and promoting cultural enrichment. By making a tax-deductible contribution, you can help the League continue to provide valuable opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts in Lake Worth and beyond. Reviews
"I love this gallery and boutique. One of the only Art leagues left in our area, this is the only place that allows you to exhibit art which is professionally judged, possibly receive an award (ribbon and check), and the ability to sell that painting for only 20% going to the gallery. All levels of artists are welcome, fine art and crafts are welcomed. It’s a great place to meet other artists."
"Before I could even park my car to go to the store a man (who find out was the owner) was outside painting with a metal stand in the drivable part of the parking lot which is very restricted as is and when I went to park yelled at me and called me a and I quote “Fucking Prick” so I strongly advise not going here there are other art galleries around in the area I’d recommend the one a block down on the opposite side of the street near Oka or any other gallery"
"Went to see the art show, and meet the artists. Enjoyable"
