"Did my Instrument, Commercial and Multi engine ratings with OSM after moving from Guyana with my Private license. The transition went smoothly. Nice fleet consisting of G1000 aircraft for Instrument, lots of instructors and you are allowed to fly everyday if you would like to. The people are great and it gives off the “family like” impression. The price point is definitely one of the cheapest in Florida as I was researching over 25 schools in South Florida before moving. OSM had a lot to offer for the good prices they marketed. Their online response time and reaching out to me after I contacted them about my interest in attending their school was definitely a plus and very informative. A definite thumbs up to Nayla and Marcela at the front desk for that! They both are really hands on and encourage you to fly and they also keep track of what you need and what’s your next step and lesson so you can complete your training quickly. Shoutout to Instructor Maria for making my training memorable. Some minor cons were, you are not allowed to fly solo at night and also landings at grass strips are prohibited. It would’ve been beneficial for students to get the experience to prepare them for the real world, but reasonable explanations were given as to why it was not allowed. Fair enough. I strongly recommend getting your high performance and spin endorsements in the Gamebird Aerobatic Aircraft in their fleet, it’s an experience you’ll never forget! Overall, great school, great airplanes and great people! Definitely a 5 star rating."
