"I was one of those parents skeptical and apprehensive about leaving our community school to attend Ascend academy. The failing grades had began to crushed my child's self-esteem. But when my son started Ascend academy things really changed . the counselors and staff genuinely care for the children and encourage them to do better than just bare minimum. Ms. Johnson is a Godsend she makes the children believe in themselves, and motivates them to take on whatever is to come after high school. I would recommend this high school to any parent who will listen. Thank you"
"I switched to this school in October 2020. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was given the opportunity to graduate a year earlier than I was supposed too. All the teachers and staff are very nice and they truly do care about the students. You get a chance to learn at your own pace unlike other schools, and you are provided you with a free laptop to do your schoolwork. I will definitely refer people to this school. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for being extremely helpful, friendly, and caring."

"My son was struggling in at a well known high school in the area! Ascend Academy was recommended a few times to me by a Co-worker (parent) and a guidance counselor. I reluctantly enrolled my son, and it was the best decision! My son not only thrived, he did great!. The principal was awesome, just a great individual , patient, and understanding and relates to the kids. The teachers and staff were amazing with my son! Ms Johnson, Adam Rhodes, I cannot say thank you enough. I will continue to communicate and assist Ascend Academy in anyway I can, to enable them to succeed and move forward in helping kids achieve their goals. Great School."
