Reviews of Hammer & Stain DIY Workshop - Palm Beaches
"I LOVE Hammer & Stain! The new owner is great and the studio is beautiful. Always a great selection of projects and new creative things to chose from. The instructors are great and knowledgeable. A great place for a girls night out or private party as well!"
"If you are looking for something new and fresh to do in Jupiter look no further ! The owner Chelsea is incredibly sweet and accommodating ! All of the projects are so beautiful ! Had so much fun I will def be back for many more classes!"
"This really upsets me to have to write this about a place I have made so many happy memories at. My house is covered in H&S projects, I have made projects as gifts for my family and have really made traditions with my friends and family to go to H&S for birthdays, girls nights, holidays, etc. over the course of 3 almost 4 years. This year, H&S has been taken over by new ownership and I had very high hopes for her success. However, by the way we were treated at our last "Wine down Wednesday" was not only unprofessional but totally unacceptable. New ownership experience: -She is unprepared for classes (got there 15 minutes early she asked me to wait outside even though I had drinks in my hand to set out on table for our party) -She overbooks classes to where you cannot even do your project on a table (I used a stool and stood the entire duration of the class) -She has cheap materials that you can find at the dollar store, that is if you could find them at your table ( I had to go look at other tables for almost everything bc mine had no tools) -There was absolutely no class structure or instruction (I helped 4 different women as they were first timers and were not given any instruction) -The owner herself was rude and completely disrespectful in front of her customers by telling my friend "she has been rude to her instructors all night and they heard her say this place sucks and she feels like she's in high school" very loudly for the class to hear. Which was not true AT ALL. -The owner said she would like to make HER mistake of the stencil not working by sending another in the mail and sending home my friend with paint and the stencil will be at her house by Friday. (A month later and after e-mailing her for the stencil, the owner said to go buy it on Etsy) The new owner is a TERRIBLE business owner and has no idea what she is doing. First and foremost, do not treat your paying customers with such disrespect. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HAMMER AND STAIN JUPITER EVER AGAIN!"
"What an amazing experience! This past Saturday, Habitat Young Professionals from Habitat for Humanity hosted an event here. The owner and her staff were beyond accommodating and really gave us the best experience. We had 30 guests for this event and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I am so grateful for Hammer & Stain PB, thank you all for introducing us to our new favorite hobby! We will be booking here regularly."
"Unfortunately I haven’t been there recently but this is the most fun, relaxing and makes your piece worthy to hang up right when you get home. Unlike painting on a blank canvas trying to be an artist ... you are a master artist at Hammer and Stain. I get so many compliments on my pieces asking where I purchased them. Thank you Ami for bringing this business to Jupiter!!!!!"
