"I’ve been there since kindergarten I am now in 6th grade I left in 5th grade and it was a ok school I had good teachers over all, it had very unsanitary bathrooms and some of the students were very rude. When I got into 5th grade I started to get bullied the school didn’t do much about it they sat me and the bully in the same room and asked the bully if they were bullying me like they would say yes I was bullying her. They didn’t end up calling or telling my mom about it a few days later. So my mother pulled me out of the school. Overall not a great school to put your child in."

"It's unfortunate that this school receives bad reviews BUT they're warranted. The principal is not visible AT ALL. She seems to think that being a principal in name only and from behind a desk gets the job done but most of the kids dont even know who she is. The office staff is a mess. No one knows anything about what goes on in the school (how hard is it for each grade level to let the office staff know what's going on and have a calendar of events AND know what exactly that event is for????). The field trips are always so messed up that we stopped signing up for them. They have tons of fundraisers all year but if you call the office to ask a question, they have no clue and send you to the fundraiser "coordinator" who also knows nothing. How can you be in charge of projects and have no clue how they work or dont work? They REALLY lost a GREAT thing when Ms Valerie from the office left. I was almost tempted to follow her! We've been at this school for going on 4 years now and have been EXTREMELY blessed that we've had 3 good teachers but the turnover rate is very high. At the end of each school year I end up asking my favorite people there if they'll be back the next school year. Many of the staff come across as having an attitude and some of them don't look mature enough to be able to handle a job that requires molding young minds. They're not friendly so I can only imagine how they treat the kids. It seems like a particular 2nd grade teacher only knows the phrase "OH WELL" and frequently tells the students that for various unwarranted reasons. The new PE "coach" they hired had shorts on so short even the teachers were discussing it. I said all of that to say they need new leadership because it's obvious we're all looking at a runaway train. The body is only as good as the head. Thank God for the few good teachers and staff members they do have. Those are the people that have kept us coming back."

"My Daughter and I love this school! She feels safe and cared for at Renaissance. They have great teachers and staff. They have great resources and offer many special class that most of the public schools have cut from the budget."

"I would Never recommend this school to anyone. The turnover on teacher is tremendous...my daughter has been going there since kindergarten and now is in the fourth grade. She’s been a victim on bullying for three consecutive years where every year that it’s happened I say it’s gonna get better but in the contrary, it gets worse and the teachers and administration don’t seem to care at all."
