"i go to this school, i'm in the 8th grade and the school was fine until the staff decided to turn on their students. Thinking of this school, well don't go to this school. 1 student this year died, 1 teacher died too, and if i was you, i would go to Roosevelt Middle school. Because they have nice staff to work with and their school has no conflict with their students. DON'T GO TO LAKE WORTH MIDDLE SCHOOL"
"I really HATE this school this year in 2017 you get in a lot fights and drama and the teachers don't care and don't be friends with the wrong people I'm going to 7th but I really wish I went to lantana because there are a lot of problems in that school and this is for the upcoming 6th graders if you have mrs.thomas as a teacher or mrs.dyer change your schedule right away those teachers are WHACK. But take my advice and you'll live."
"We are almost complete with my daughters first year and it's been an amazing journey. Their engineering program is awesome and their principal really cares about the children."
"I was transplanted from catholic school in Ohio to 8th grade here. 1996/97 school year. The first classroom I walked into was Barry Grunow's English. Many fond memories of him and other very effective teachers despite the gangsters paradise setting. It was culture shock to say the least."
"As a parent I advise you to not let your child go to this school. My experience was horrible the staff is uncoordinated, rude and lazy. The officer by the name of Thai tries to intimidate children by conducting searches when he is not allowed todo so,by law. Thai is aggressive with the children and parents. The way Thai carried himself was unprofessional and that's why I can't even call him a officer. Thai was explaing the law and why he could not conduct a search in a very aggressive way. I as a parent felt as if Thai was being aggressive loud and rude to me.( could you just image what a child would feel from this man talking down to them like that) I asked Thai to lower his voice and he mentioned to me that no he wasn't going to lower his voice and if I didn't like it the least he said he could do was open the door instead of lowering his voice. Mind you Thai mention he could not conduct a search due to my son phone being stolen because it's is against the law, yet to come to find out that two weeks prior to 12/7/16 Thai himself conducted a search on my son for another student phone being stolen so to me it's like he was picking and choosing on how he wants to conduct searches on.Unfortunately for thai my lawyers are involved now so that's on him. Please ask your child if he or she has ever has a search conducted by this man. Regarding the other staff member principle Williams sit behind a desk all day with his star wars memorabilia lost in space and gives his jobs for others to do because he is " handling something " I think the only person that was trying to help me was Dr. Jeff Neil I give him credit but he was out of resources but what can the man do he can't run the show himself but unfortunately they have him doing it without him even knowing. Dr. Neil efforts belong at a school where he is appreciated and helped not left to sink in a situation like mine. The conclusion is that the school is not a good school people may say what they want but the staff plays a big roll and it's not just a one man show to make things work with nearly 997 students, give or take according to my resources. Please keep your kids safe it's our duty as psrents, stand up for your kids. If you don't who will?"
