"I can't thank Dr. Weiner and his staff enough for saving my life! When you think of aesthetic medicine, you generally don't think of medical emergencies, but that is exactly what happened to me. I had chin/jaw filler placed by my injector in Miami where I live. The next couple of days after my injection, I developed severe pain in the area and I noticed some worsening skin color changes around my chin and jaw and immediately knew it was a vascular occlusion (basically my injector had placed filler into an artery that caused complete blockage of blood flow leading to death of the surrounding skin tissue and vessels). Luckily, I had been traveling in the area to visit family and my injector told me to reach out to Dr. Weiner who is a world renowned expert in vascular occlusions and filler complications. I reached out to Dr. Weiner and showed him a pic of my face, and him noticing the severity of the issue, opened up his office on the weekend for me to treat me for this medical emergency! Being that he is one of the world experts in facial ultrasound he was able to pinpoint the occlusion immediately and treat it directly. He was also able to come up with a multimodal treatment plan for me including various topical agents, IV vitamins, and a state of the art wound dressing that delivers 24 hour oxygen to my wound. Through his expert guidance, knowledge, and skill, my face is now drastically improved and I am almost fully recovered thanks to him! Without him I could have had severe and permanent damage to face, neck and mouth. I really can't thank him enough. What a true asset and luxury to have an expert and world renowned injector in the area. There are very few injectors in the country that can do what Dr. Weiner does. "I cried when I looked in the mirror today. Now wait, stay with me- I cried because I looked 5-10 years younger. I told Dr. Weiner I was game for anything he felt I needed. He settled on Botox in my glabella and forehead & a syringe of filler in my nasolabial folds… the injection itself was (without numbing cream) THE LEAST PAINFUL AND FASTEST INJECTION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
