"I had an amazing experience doing a Photography Tour with Ocean Helicopters and Chief Pilot Andy this past week. This was the first time I had ever been on a helicopter, so understandably I would be a little nervous ahead of time, but that nervousness quickly subsided as we went airborne. The flight was awesome, it was as if we were floating over the sights from West Palm Beach to Jupiter Lighthouse. "I highly recommend this school. I came here on an exploratory mission to see if I wanted to pursue a helicopter private pilot's license. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. There were no pressure tactics and they were completely forthright and honest about cost and time. My instructor DJ was awesome and took the time to go over all the preflight checks. Most people would have no desire to tell every newbie the reason for each check. After getting in the air DJ let me use the controls but was always there when I started to go wayward. A great experience and if I decide to pursue the license I will definitely use them."

"I have been over to Ocean many times and over a long period of time where I have done my PPL and a substantial amount of hour building. I have seen the company change quite a bit but since I first started flying there in 2004 and they have managed to keep its friendly, relaxed but still professional outlook on learning to fly helicopters. Trust me a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere when you are learning is really important and on those difficult days when it doesn't seem to go right pretty much everyone there will say "hey I was exactly the same when I learnt don't worry...". The airfield location is perfect for learning as you don't have to deal with busy commercial traffic that you encounter at other schools. You pretty much get in the helicopter, start it up and get of with learning and not sitting waiting to get on the radio to the tower. If you aren't sure just go an pay them a visit and you will be greeted with warm welcome by Gill and Skip the dog. Skip likes everyone unless......you are a delivery guy ha ha. Enjoy"
