"I’ve had dark tear troughs for years, and I saved for ages to be able to get them filled as a birthday present to myself. I called and specifically asked if the office did tear trough fillers, and was told that they did. I came in for a consult, and was told by Angela that I did not, in fact, need tear trough filler, but that I needed my upper cheeks filled to correct the problem. She said that would fix the tear troughs, whereas injecting directly into them would make the problem worse. Upon leaving, I was suddenly told that the consultation cost $100, which would be applied toward the procedure. At this point I felt a bit trapped, but trusted her professional opinion, and really wanted to get rid of the circles. I came back the next day. She said that the only thing that would hurt was the initial insertion. The numbing cream was applied immediately before, and hadn’t seemed to take effect, as the procedure was incredibly painful. I gutted it out, and asked if I needed ice or anything, but she said there would be no issues, and just to sleep upright. I did that. So the next day, when the burning still hadn’t stopped, and the entire area was lumpy and red, I began to get seriously worried. I called the office three times, saying I feared I was having an allergic reaction, and each time was put through to an answering machine. Finally I got in the car and drove the hour to the office, where no one was in but the receptionist, who kindly gave me some ice packs and told me that the burning and lumpiness was normal. I should not have had to drive two hours to make sure my face wasn’t falling off, but she told me to wait two weeks for it to settle. It has now been three weeks, and the results are awful. The tear troughs have been made much worse, as the upper cheek filler has done nothing but puff up the area directly below, turning what was dark tear troughs into a full sunken half-circle beneath each eye. On the left, there is a hard line of filler, which still burns, between the outer corner of my eye and the injection site, giving the effect of two distinct left cheekbones about an inch apart. On the right, there is an odd lump directly beneath the eye socket. A gay friend took one look at me, without knowing I’d had anything done, and said, “Oh, honey, they f___d up your filler.” If a practitioner is unable to do a procedure, don’t misinform patients that they actually need something else done. I am incredibly disappointed with this whole experience, and embarrassed to show my face in public. I have paid $1500 to look a decade older and tumorous."
"I went for a checkup. I waited briefly and was brought to the examination room. The nurse asked me some health questions, and was very nice. Dr. Ward came in and examined me quickly and was also very friendly."
"Great Experience! Angela Pearson did not rush through the appointment, and I felt she really listened and cared. Staff was helpful and friendly, too!"
"Above average, Great, first visit. It felt I was in very experienced hands. The care was well coordinated. No extra waiting. The procedures were well explained and quick."
"Worst doctor and staff experience with this office, NOW TWICE. I am a new patient, based on a different insurance plan I now hold. I had a referral from my primary doctor to have a cyst removed from my elbow. I made the appointment, took the day off work, as I knew there would be some discomfort and stitches. Upon arrival the doctor tells me that they don't remove cyst's on the first visit, it's their protocol to inject the area and try to minimize the size. NOW, as many of you know, a cyst is a sac, and if not removed it will come back, which it did, with a vengeance. The doctor assured me that if I needed to be seen by them again, they would surgically remove the cyst. So I make an appointment to have the cyst surgically removed, and explained to the woman who made my appointment that I was having a great deal of pain performing my job and needed it removed as soon as possible. She put me on hold, several times, she told me she even contacted my insurance company to make sure the procedure was covered under my plan. I arrive at 3:30pm for a 3:45pm appointment. The same doctor I had seen the first comes into the room, asks why I'm there, and says ''Oh darlin we close in 10 minutes''....WHAT !!!!! @#%^$%^$^&& I don't care if you closed 3 hours ago. I came to you for medical assistance. I came to you for relief of my pain. She said, it's not infected, it's just a little aggravated. She also told me, had it been an earlier appointment, she would have made all her other patients wait that day while she performed my procedure. Which just shows me she could care less about ANY of her patients. She suggested I make another appointment and now wanting $350, in co-pays for a procedure that should have been addressed on the very first visit. I'm not sure where the breakdown in this office starts, but if your a PATIENT, BEWARE !!!! GET IT IN WRITING, AND EVEN RECORD YOUR PHONE CALLS."
