"Horrible School~ From Asst. Principal (Mr. Gamez) to most staff! This has been a nightmare since day one! Very uneducated and dishonest staff who tend to taunt, degrade and bully their students! The school has low ratings because of this. I am looking to move from the area to save my son from all this emotional distress he has to deal with. This has caused him to lose interest in his education. Save yourself the headache and avoid putting your child through this stressful environment. I am pending a call from the principal and school district! Hopefully they got better heads on their shoulders... We'll see."

"I'm in 8th grade now and so far it has been a roller coaster of feelings. Most of them good but some bad. The good ones will be remembered throughout my life. We can all get rid of the bad memories with us. It has been a wonderful time at this school. Just do be with the wromg group and you will be just fine. Sincerely, me."

"My daughter went to Woodlands Middle School in 1996/97 and there was no such thing as "bullying" and now my nephew is attending this school. We were very concerned about sending him there because of the reviews we had read on the school bullying. Although my nephew has had a few students try to pick on him, the School Employees are on top of it, EVERY TIME!! Thank you for making Woodlands a better school every year!! The dress code....Get over it! Life is never easy. Better to know that while you're still young! GO MUSTANG'S!!"

"I love Woodlands Middle school. The only thing strict about the dress cods is the jacket / sweatshirt situation but otherwise I think the dress code is very lenient and respectable. The whole thing about a teacher being arrested is partially true. He almost got arrested because some kids started a rumor. That's all. Fights? There have barely been any this year. they've gotten way better about it. The education is very well there and there are a ton of clubs and electives to join. The band program is spectacular. Last year they received strait superiors which is like strait A's in all categories in the MPA's or Music Performance Assessment. The Teachers are extremely nice and I don't know what I'm going do after I leave because the whole school has become just a big family whether you like someone or not, whether you know someone or not, you'll still miss their presence after you're gone. Anything about Woodlands being a bad school is a big lie because it is a great school. To any soon-to-be Mustangs, you have nothing to worry about. The Teachers will be there to help you find your classes and I promise, unless the school changes which is unlikely to happen, you will enjoy your experience at Woodlands Middle. Going there is one choice you will never regret."
